"Bought this for an affordable bullpups rifle and oh my goodness it's great. It doesn't come with a battery, but it comes with so many other great things so it was totally worth it. Rps is insane for a stock gun 10/10 would buy again.

"This gun… I love it.
I hate it also.

When I first got this gun, I immediately wanted to upgrade it and turn it into a DMR. I never reached before so it was a learning experience.
All I can say - DO NOT UPGRADE THE GUN UNTIL IT BREAKS FIRST.
My mistake was immediately cracking it open when I didn’t need to. I went through so many parts… but I learned a lot.

1st: the outer trigger in the trigger assembly WILL break over time. They do not have a solid replacement for it. You can try to reinforce the new trigger before installing it, but they break. Sometimes it takes a month, sometimes it takes 4 years.
Mine just broke after 4 years of owning this gun. Something new I gotta learn and replace now haha -

2nd: mags CAN be picky. Most mags I have used do fit, however they can be wobbly and loose. I have a few mags dedicated to only use in this gun - because I added foam to the mags and stuff (I recommend adding foam to the magwell instead, on the back so it helps push the mag forward in the well to help it feed.
Since I don’t have an M4 I just modified the mags themselves however.

3rd: don’t try putting an M120 or higher spring in it.
Even with upgraded parts, I sheared the gearbox itself…
I recommend putting an APS SilverEdge V3 gearbox in the UAR after the stock gearbox breaks. If it breaks. Depends if you know how to upgrade it properly (I did not.) : the SE V3 Gearbox can just be dropped in so it’s convenient. I did end up changing the internals of the silver edge and now I have the replica where I want it. A 400fps DMR. And it shoots pretty fast.

4th: I do not recommend putting a longer internal barrel on it. It can be hard to remove the top half of the gun if you put a longer internal barrel in her. You CAN do it. But you risk bending the barrel.

Overall: I recommend making this into a high RPS CQB rifle. It’s easier to make this gun shoot faster, than it is to shoot harder.

10/10 Gummy Bears because I love this gun, and I thank it for all the experience I have gotten from teching on it. I still have more experience to gain from it also.

"For the price, you're getting A LOT of bang for your buck!

PROS:
-Accurate
-Decent Weight, lightweight polymer makes this a mobile weapon
-Quick Change Spring
-Full Mod top and bottom
-Compact size but long barrel, it's a bulpup as advertised, and a good one!

CONS:
-Safety / Semi Auto switch is a bit loose (for the model I got), you have to keep turning it until it clicks which means it doesn't align with the appropriate pictograms. That's the only complaint I have.

"Awesome gun! I'm very satisfied with it's performance out of the box and the only complaint from me would be the trigger squeeze is pretty squishy. Great range and accuracy, ak hopup works fine, super easy disassembly. I replaced the motor and promptly stripped the plastic piston teeth. No big deal. I bought a gate warfet and a momentary switch to make the trigger way more responsive. Overall, it's my unicorn. Tenergy valor 1250 mah flat 11.1 fits great with a little dremeling of the buttplate.

"Great gun especially for the price. I've had mine for about a year now, but just now got the chance to field it at Iron Fury. Not a traditional Milsim weapon, but it absolutely did its job. I used the highest spring included, and was hitting about 1.5 joules without any other upgrades.

Pros: side rails remove easy
several quality springs included
quick change spring
good weight (feels durable but not like it will fall apart)
lefty friendly.

Cons:
my only real gripe is how small the battery compartment in the stock is. it takes some fiddling to get the battery in the right position so that the stock pin can be reinserted. but you get used to it.
it is also picky about what mags it will take. My BAMF mags fit fine, but whatever brand the chrono booth was using did not.

All around, this gun is good for any play style in my opinion. it easily out performed my G&P m4, which i have dumped around a $1000 into.

"I put the highest power spring in and chronoed at 301fps with .32 bbs (inside field limits). I also used .32 all day and had no trouble hopping them (probably could go heavier). After Fielding this weapon I can say I'm very impressed, I could fire accurately into windows nearly all the way across medium size fields. I had to leave a tower since I actually started to feel bad for the slaughter. Compared to an m4 it was harder to shoot offhand, so I found myself peeking right most of the day;I need to try a vertical grip. I wanted to build a dmr or try sniping but I think this is as good as it gets for me.

Note: battery isn't in the top rail like most YouTube videos show. It also comes with three springs, the one in the gun isn't labled.

The good: shoots like a Lazer.
M4 magazines.
Hops heavy bbs.
Chronos within field limits and has extra spring options that are actually easy to change.
Nobody knows what it is.
Sight rail is high enough you can skip risers and still see well with goggles.

The meh: in order to use elite force mags you need to modify the magwell with a dremmel or melt it back(extend the notch back), their is a YouTube video or two explaining this. The magwell can also use a bit of velcro tape to keep mags straight/tight.
APS doesn't sell midcaps for this gun.
If you aren't using lipo batteries now, you will want to convert to use this gun, the biggest battery I can fit is a 3 cell 11.1 lipo, and you will need to be very careful with the wires.

Cons: maybe a bit heavier than expected for a polymer gun. The magazines are hicap but lower capacity, I'd rather it come with one bigger mag than two medium ones. Not sure what midcap mags work without modification.

Tldr: After a few minor alterations it is perfect. My new go to gun I won't be using any other any time soon. I love it!

"Holy macaroni!
The quality and feel is simply perfect!

"I just got this and love it!!! Shoots straight, comfortable, only issue is the fire selector is difficult to put into semi unless you use your offhand. Overall though would buy again in a heartbeat and not to mention mine came with 2 extra springs!!

"Just received and test fired this AEG. Added the APS Rhino flip-up sights and this AEG fire performance is very accurate. The only issue I have is the 3-point magazine release. All 3 points are extremely stiff and takes a lot of getting used to for fast reloading. Overall it's a real workhorse of an AEG. Recommend for those into bullpup models, or just want to try something aside from M4/AK variants that currently flood the market.

"2 weeks in owning this gun, I just put this through a couple games. The UAR holds up WELL. I used a gooseneck to extend the top rail back to give my eyes more relief for the red dot. I'm having a shoulder pad arriving to counter balance so i don't pull it into my armpit but instead have my shoulder hold 75% of the weight and all i have to basically do is swing the gun around like I'm playing and FPS game on a computer with a mouse, it's that easy. I just have to figure out how to install slide rails onto the gun or make the violin shoulder pad detachable. Sure it will look funny, but it will honestly out function 90% of all my competitors guns due to this mod alone.

The trigger needs some modification to get it to tap easier for those Semi-auto games, otherwise it runs a dream on full auto with a lipo, it's CRAZY FAST with the stock motor and stock spring running in at 370fps with .30's. And the range is VERY long, 100ft is nothing to this gun and the groupings are very close together. Probably has something to do with it's long inner barrel with the bullpup design.

I would have opted for the UAR to have a more fresh look and minimal like an AUG instead of looking like it came out of a robocop movie, but I put some chrome strips on the UAR and it's starting to look awesome. And actually i'm digging the sci-fi look because it's guaranteeing it doesn't look like any other M4 on the field.

One more thing, compared to most AR's and PDWs, this one fits nicely inbetween in terms of overall length and gives you the accuracy of a full length rifle at a fraction of the weight and length. This one's a keeper if you're looking for a budget gun that takes M4 FLASH mags and a QD Spring change bullpup style.

You might even opt for an APS new gen AUG but it doesn't take M4 mags. This UAR is your best bet for a budget gun that's has the best of all worlds.

"I was NOT paid to write this, and have no affiliation with evike or anyone in APS, this is my personal review.

Gun came with 2 EXTRA springs, and 2 MAGAZINES (small and large)! This is a PACKAGE DEAL you don't get with other guns in this price point! Box also looks amazing.

Gun is lightweight compared to my old metal AK, you can shoulder this very easy and run around with it for days in that it's mainly polymer, which is a PLUS! And wield it one handed due to bullpup design shifting the weight comfortably to your shoulder. It's not as light as a P90 but the accuracy is hella better for fields plus this thing uses M4 flash mags instead of proprietary P90 mags, BIG PLUS!

Everything is easily detachable, the battery space is in the stock, use a mini lipo and you're golden had zero problems fitting the battery.

Can't find anything wrong with this gun other than the fire selector switch has a gummy feeling to it, sometimes it gives a nice click and sometimes it clicks past the mark (weird), and the trigger also feels spongey. Nothing a bit of modification can't fix.

The polymer isn't as say SOLID as $350 Magpul PDR-C, but this gun is $150, and for what you get it outweighs MINOR and im talking MINISCULE things that aren't as good as a $300 dollar gun. You get say 90% of the quality at half the price if I can put this in perspective.

Shoots accurate as hell, looks awesome, solid 9.5/10

I would HIGHLY recommend this UAR package!

"Pros:
*Interchangeable gearbox
*Decent trigger
*compact
*reliable
*Used as a prop in "The Expanse"
*Realistic, but light weight.
*In the hand, feels like a cross between the FAMAS and the Kel-tec RFB
Cons:
*Magazines' alignment with feed can be finicky, but is easily remedied with masking tape applied to the back of the magazine as a shim.
*No muzzle devices.
*Battery Compartment can be a pain to close.

Overall, it has room for improvement, but is still a great gun, especially for CQB.

"The uar's plastic feels extremely sturdy and solid and the balance of the gun feels great. Taking the gun apart is hardest the first, but does feel a little looser after, not wobbly, just a little wiggle room. I am used to standard long guns and my natural hand placement puts the end of the rail in the middle of my hand. This was easily fixed by using an angled foregrip, which feels wonderful on this gun. The selector switch easily goes from safe to full, but is harder to switch to semi. The trigger pull is a tad long, but only a problem if you are an absolute perfectionist. I prefer curved triggers, but the straight trigger on this gun still feels good. Magazines wobble around some, but no feeding issues, it is a 1" deep mag well though. The storage cap in the pistol grip had half an o ring on it, which makes it a pain to get in and out of the grip. The top rail is well above the barrel, but is the perfect height for sights. The battery compartment is small and does take some getting used to to arrange the battery and wires. The included mags windup wheels are recessed, which makes it akward to wind up while it is in the gun, this is also hurt by the fact that it is a bullpup. The gear box is easy to disassemble, upgrade, and reassemble. Make sure that you line up all of the connectors during reassemble for it to work properly. It does skip a few rounds in full auto every now and then, common enough to note, but not a real problem overall. Was not an issue at all in semi. Overall a great base gun with good upgrade potential.

"i rated this a 5 but it would be a 4.5 bc the mag well is a little bigger to accommodate almost all m4/m16 mags but the are wiggly and sometimes don't lock also mine did not come with a alen wrench and it its huge and can not fit any of mine but it shoots hars and has a recoil thing that is nice with the default spring it can easily shoot 100 ft straight with 25g bbs and with the right hop

"To be honest, this gun is underpriced. You get the pack of a close quarters gun, with the punch of a well made assault rifle. I used it today in a CQB field, and it was wonderful. No problems, pin point accurate. Lets go right into pros and cons.

Pros:
m4 mags makes it easy to buy mags
Good feeding
Outstanding accuracy. This will even work for paintball masks users that cant look down sights
Good rail space
Great FPS
Everything is ambidextrous
Good trigger pull
Great Gearbox
No jams so far
Comes with 2 Hi-Cap magazines
Great Grip
Lots of storage space (WATCH THE EVIKE VIDEO)
Let me just emphasize how great the accuracy is

Cons:
The battery compartment is a bit difficult to get used to and only works with small types and lipo but you get used to it.
