I had a problem with the HORRIBLE stock Plastic pieces that hold this in place (which broke) but I jut replaced them with some small nuts and now it works fine. Let me say though that the spring is stronger and is harder to push, which is a good thing because now your mag will not accidentally fall out

"this mag release is very well constructed and the button is actually held in place by a screw so the two pieces never separate but thats all the good i can say. i was expecting a true copy of the cheap plastic mag release in terms of dimensions and the actually lip made to catch on the magazine is just slightly too short. its short enough that at the right angle it might catch but i could still pull the mag out without pushing the button.
