"Hey there! I've had the kx5 for awhile and I've fielded it quite a few times. First off it looks pretty sick. If you want a little shorter but the same, try the kx3. I got mine at amped. It's under 31mm so it fits in normal rails for that recessed surpressor look. I don't know if the red tracers are supported but mine illuminates atleast half of the red tracer and the green illuminations are almost on par with the best.

There's no button for the power options. To turn it on, you take the front cap off, twist the cap on the actual tracer where the power switch is illustrated and replace the cap. I think this design, when I get into a game and I have my kit and gloves on its easier than pushing a little pin hole. Unlike other tracers, I don't worry too much about the walls with it getting shot or dented from fielding. Even though it's pretty robust and it illuminates very well, however if want super 5/5 brightness I'd look elsewhere. It's plenty bright and more than good enough to work and it's definitely a step up from the cheaper options.

After my first few recharges I ended up fielding it, forgot to turn it off and I was still able to play almost the full set of the next days games. No doubt this will last you a good day of heavy use.
