"These mags are amazing for the price i bought 2 of them and
they work great with the we smg-8. If you want a great priced
gbb mag that has pretty good gas usage and holds lots of bbs
this is the mag for you.

"These magazines work well, but should be serviced prior to use--oil the BB follower/track and make sure to lube the valves. My BBs kept getting stuck in the channel making the gun dry fire. I also had one with a very slight fill valve leak which lube took care of.
If you have trouble getting the mags to lock into the gun, then read below.
I purchased two of these magazines for an SMG-8 purchased elsewhere. They would not lock into the gun, but the magazine included with the gun would.
Turns out that at some point WE-Tech changed the design slightly at the catch points on the magazine. Presumably they changed the magazine catch in the gun as well.
To use these magazines I had to file a very small amount off of the ridges--on the magazines--that are caught by the mag catch. Took about 5 minutes of slow, careful, trial-and-error work--the magazines are cast out of soft pot metal. I did not have to modify the mag catch in the gun.
These magazines now function very well, although one will engage the bolt catch when it still has one BB in it. Not a big deal. Four and a half stars.
