the price. you can get cyma beta mags without the magpul trades and ranger plates for around $8 here.
cleaning them. they don't disassemble like regular ak mags.

"Ok so I got these about a week ago and to tell you the truth i was a bit worried that they might not fit my Echo 1 AK700. Upon their arrival I took them out of their packaging, a plastic zip-lock baggy, and replaced my usual banana mag with one. Not only did it fit, but it was perfect for the rifle. Tossing in a few BB's and a battery i set off to my make shift firing range and began putting rounds down 'range'. Again, the magazines fed perfectly, and had no issues what so ever. If you have an AK or AK variant for your AEG, these are a must have. They fit in M4 mag pouches and their slight transparency allows you to check and see how many rounds you have left... not to mention make your rifle just look outstanding.

"Just got these mags today and I must say these mags are the best hi cap mag for the magpul beta project ak. I have been looking for a hi cap mag that would fit my ak for awhile now and tried a lot of them and none of them fit as good as these mags. They fit and look just like the magpul p mags that came with my gun. Looking to get more.

"I primarily run an M4 setup and now have an AK. I wanted a magazine that would still fit comfortably in my m4 mag pouches. These fit perfectly! You can only get 1 per pouch though. I was extremley pleased with their performance - feeding nearly every last round on the well side. I was a little leary at first because of the "see-through" plastic, but it is nice to take a quick glance down to see how many rounds are left. Running a Cyma AK, GP M120 High speed motor, and a 9.6 battery. The magazines had no trouble feeding. The magazines fit snuggly with little to no wobble. I also tried them in an Echo1 RPK and they also fit snuggly into the magazine well.

. the mag front lip was to thick

"Works in the Arcturus centaur b ak. BUT need to sand down the front and back lip a little. Snug fit and feeds well.

"A neat magazine, only problem is it does NOT fit my LCT AK74MN.
Probably works for CYMA AKs, but I doubt any LCT will accept this mag.
