"I bought his 4/20/2021 and this is my 1 year review. This is my first gbbr that I ever bought! I never owned/ wanted an aeg cause Im a die hard gbb fan. I saw the bad rep that this gun had over time so I was prepared for the worst. To my surprise it had no issues so far! I didn't polish any part of the bolt carrier because mine didn't seem to have an issue with getting caught up. The internals are doomed to break eventually but mine still going strong 1 year later and if it does break I get a RA tech steel trigger group and its fine.
The mags don't leak and are super easy to work on and me being a novice gbbr owner I didn't leave them with gas and they still work. If they have problems its a phillips screw away! The hop up is not that good on most stock guns so replace that. My internals are stock but have amazing aftermarket support which is why I bought it despite the bad press.
The extenals for my tan version have a different tone in tans from the polymer lower vs the metal upper but I like this cause it matches with my sig m17.The upper tan is darker then a we scar and not as shiny. The ergonomics are amazing ambi everything and satisfying trigger pull. Though the safety is STILL stiff but has gotten better over the year. the handguard is a little play in it and is not MLOK.It instead includes 2x 5 slot and 1x 10 slot picatinny rails the screw in the handguard.
The bolt release is ridiculously sluggish is not as satisfying and crisp as it should be, a stronger recoil spring should fix it but evike has not restocked them. Also the rifle is obscenely heavy, when I kit it out (grip/light/laser/optic) it's about 10 lb. Also the customization of the gun is limited. It has a fixed lower grip so no changing out the grip or changing the upper receiver. Then on the other hand the quick change barrel system is absolutely brilliant. The customization is lacking but its due to the unique aspect of the platform.
What comes in the box: hop up allen keys: Barrel shims: STEEL FLASH HIDER: picatinny rail mounts: gun: one msk mag
p.s. the orange tip is pinned/ the handguard is not MLOK/ the folding stock latch is fragile so be careful and don't slam it shut and it will last/
Overall well balanced
Pros:
-Goodish internals (so far)
-good rate of fire
- solid construction
- good performance
-aftermarket support (internals)
-ergonomics (supper lefty friendly)
Cons:
- heavy with long barrel
- handguard wobbles a bit
- customization
- ridiculously stiff safety
-limited rail segments
-hop up

"I received my MSK Masada 6 years ago from Evike as my first gun. Yes, it sucked, but the newest gens of this rifle fixed numerous problems. This is how I made my rifle perform better than most AEGs/P*s at my field:
1. HPA tapped magazines. There are many options, including mags with an HPA line.
2. Polish the underside of the bolt and the top side of the Hammer where it contacts the bolt.
3. Use non-petroleum (non-silicone if possible) based lubricant. I use GETSOME!1000 lubricant in all my GBBRs and Daytona rifles.
4. Upgrade the bucking to a Maple Leaf Autobot/Decepticon or a RA-Tech Reaps, as well as the nub and/or tight-bore barrel if possible.
5. CQB Barrels work better for accuracy over distance in my experience with all my GBBRs.
With WE-TECH there are numerous other upgrades like an aluminum nozzle/ hopup chamber, most are unnecessary unless something breaks. Using an adjustable NPAS in the nozzle helps in the Masada for consistent airflow.

"I heard this gun had cycling issues so I imidiately hpa tapped the mags and polished the bolt before I even used it and I must say, it's amazing. The kick is more intense then I expected. It's hard to aim in full auto because of the recoil(not a con in my opinion).
Pros:
great fps (using it as a dmr)
Accurate
Loud and intimidating
Looks great
Con:
Recoil spring is really weak and had upgraded it for better cycling
Orange tip was extremely hard to get off(I boiled it 3 times and had to break it off)
selector switch is waaaayyyyy to stiff to move by hand half
Recoil is so strong that the cheek rider comes lose after 2 shots
Have to use a tiny hex key for the hop up unit
Hop up unit doesn't hold the outer barrel tight
Hop up is a little weird, it doesn't over hop. If you go past the where the bb flies exactly straight the hop up unit starts to act like the hop up doesn't even exist
Would recommend to anyone to get it. The cons are not that severe and shouldn't discourage you from getting one of the best feeling guns.

"A solid gun. Has no problems out of the box.
Pros:
-Accurate
-loud and proud
-kick somewhere between a .22LR and a 5.56
-Externals made of mostly aluminum and high quality polymer
-Easy tear down.
Cons:
-Bolt carrier could be polished to aid in cycling (same for the hammer).
-Bolt shows signs of wear within a few mags. Could be wearing in, but something to keep in mind.
-Few aftermarket parts available.
This is a great GBBR. I can't see any deal breakers here. With a bit of DIY work, and proper cleaning and lubing, it will be the best thing in your arsenal. I would use some white lithium grease on the bolt carrier, and make sure you clean it often.

"Since they removed the CQB variant, I'll do my 6 month review here.
This is my first GBBR, and it was worth it after all the negativity and the upcoming release of the PTS Masada. I went anyways we the WE MSK due to the fact that I like the Remington version Vs Magpul.
Out of the box, it came somewhat dirty and over the top greased. Like I do with any firearm I get, I decided to clean it, degrease it and lube it. After loading the first mag it was showing signs of a bad cycle. I was overly bummed about it because I had no idea what to do. I googled and asked my local tech and he said all he needed to do was sand and polish the bolt's bottom and top of the hammer.
After the tech, fixed my cycling issue and threw in a REAPS bucking with a Maple Leaf nub, I can hit anything withing a 3"-4" at 80-90 yards with EF Milsim Max BBs.

"Pros:
Gun has a solid recoil
Upgraded my gun with RA-TECH parts and....it's amazing
Interchangeable barrels. You can switch from short, mid, and long barrels
Mags (v2) keep gas like a Prius
Heavy in a good way
The sound it makes when you pull the trigger instills fear into your enemies. Out of all the gas guns I've shot this thing is loud.
Cons:
Internals are really bad prepare to upgrade or repair
The foldable stock's button is fragile be careful when you handle it
Internals are REALLY BAD.
Overall this gun is amazing when upgraded but if you are not going to upgrade don't even bother
This gun is a great base gun. The Internals are just really bad.

"This is my first gun of this type
Seems to be pretty good not having another to compare with yet
But I am impressed
Shoots straight with nice power but have to adjust hop up, shoots low
Very impressive with looks, steel is heavy but not to much
The presentation was nice in box , but needs more instructions on how too's and parts or maybe I'm missing some papers
But all in all I like it it's areal nice gun can't wait to modify

"Hello Evike Shoppers,
ITs been about a week now of having my WE-Tech MSK GBB Assault Rifle.
I HIGHLY recommend this rifle to a serious airsofter as the price is a little up there but you are definitely getting a gun that is worth your money. Seeing as i got the gun right when it got nippy cold out, and as you should know, GBBs dont perfom well in cold weather. But from the 6 mags i have run through the gun it is a fantastic weapon. As always, Thank You Evike for another successful purchase. Shipping was quick and everything came in excellent condition.
Pros:
Sturdy Build
Shoots very hard
Very hard recoil system
Easy Field Stripping and Teardown
Highly accurate
Plenty of rail space for attachments and mounting options
Includes the patented Magpul M-Lok system https://www.magpul.com/mlok
Cons:
Forearm is a little lose due to how the gun is meant to be stripped, but it really hasn't caused any issues, im just ocd about that stuff
Magazine is a little difficult to load but once you get the technique down its a breeze.
As i stated above, GBBs dont like cold weather, so performance is lower when the temp is lower.
All in all, extremely happy with my purchase. Remember, this is a Milsim weapon, so your mags only hold a MAX of 30 bbs, so this is not a spray and pray AEG with a highcap. So if you have the budget, and are looking for a super awesome, super realistic weapon, this is definitely the gun for you.
Hope this review provided some insight and info.

"This gun very different than how I expected to use this in games. I believe this gun is a DMR, or even a sniper, more than an assault rifle. The materials are very high grade and well built. The gun is very loud, very powerful, it hurts to get it, and it gets some people looking.
Pros:
Feels great to hold
loud
well built
unexpected power
Cons:
Too powerful to use at most fields as an assault rifle
Mags are REALLY hard to load!!!!
Mags do not hold more than forty rounds
Uses gas pretty quickly but will get through the whole mag
overview:
I recommend this gun to anybody who wants to be sniper or designated marksmen and doesn't mind the the hard to load mags.

"Just opened my we tech msk. Very awesome so far,no bb's thru it yet. Right out of the box you can tell this is a very well made airsoft gun. It's to cold for a shoot but will here real soon. Evike y'all are awesome airsoft retailer. This is my sixth order from y'all. Always on time, always in good order when package arrives. Way to go there. Tho I did order the one with the Crain stock and got the one with the folding stock. Which is better for me,ordered mine on vets day and got it for $250. If your thinking of buying this gun. Go ahead and get it you won't be disappointed

"This is a very solid gas blow back rifle. The internals are all right. After several hundred rounds there is wear on the hammer and I would suggest getting the roller bearing hammer for ra-tech. The gun does shoot very hot so you will either need an npas or turn it into a dmr like I did. The magazines hold a lot of gas and I generally get over 50 rounds out of them. I would suggest this to an intermediate or advance player who is familiar with gas guns.

"Bought this easter of 2016, so had it for about a year. It runs fairly well, but with most GBBR's it takes a lot of maintenance. I've broken 3 or 4 front loading nozzles and had to replace them. I've also had problems with the stock PMAGS seating properly.
Pros
-Very Loud
-Very well built (externally)
-Accurate internals to real guns (relatively)
-Kicks very hard
-Pretty accurate, at least up to 100 yards, which I use it to
-The bolt and nozzle are very easy to disassemble
-The trigger is very short and crisp
Cons
-PMAG's don't seat well. *Normal M4 open bolt ones work just fine*
-Had the stock break open and had to buy a replacement latch and weld it up so it won't fold anymore
-The nozzle seems to break pretty often, at least once every 3-4 months (might be with new mags)
-The last month it has been doing run-away full auto every so often after getting dust in the gun
Overall I'd recommend it, but be ready for quite a bit of maintenance and cleaning.

"First off, don't buy this if you aren't comfortable taking apart airsoft guns. This gun needs a decent amount of work before it runs smoothly. You will need a NPAS valve and the RA tech trigger set that has the hammer with the roller on the top.
PROS
Externals are GREAT!!
Hard Recoil
Iron Sights are troy battle sight replicas 10/10
Ambidextrous controls
Plenty of rail Space
Accurate
Decent ROF
CONS
Stock internals are NOT TRUSTWORTHy
Handguard is wobbly (can be fixed with tape)
Nozzle is eh
P-mags have bad cool down
If you buy this gun be ready to get parts soon

"Purchased this rifle a few weeks ago. Here's a review after about 15 full mags have gone through it (1 field, several fires to zero sights/adjust hop-up and then for optics as well). I absolutely love this ACR. Please don't let my overly nit-picking review keep you from purchasing this solid, very accurate and soon-to-be dual purpose (cqb) rifle.
Pros:
-awesome blowback and loud
-almost 7lbs, very realistic weight
-modular stock, very useful for multiple position firing
-ambidextrous functionality
-very, very accurate once hop-up is adjusted(200ft[roughly estimated] with .20bbs and propane. A DMR out of the box
-very comfortable feeling rifle, you're used to it after only a few mags
-easy to break down, apart from the barrel and inner barrel not being connected
-*short barrel is offered for CQB conversion, as well as an FPS adjusting npas valve nozzle*
cons:
-stock spring that retains it while folded isn't strong enough, stock flops when folded.
-hand guard is jiggly
-hand guard timecerts either aren't flush with the guard itself, or the head of the bolts supplied are causing the rails to not snug completely, causing any attachments to also be jiggly. Jiggly is not good. (purchase a poly hand guard and do away if it bothers you like it does me)
-selector switch requires the hand strength of two and a half men (now with tiger blood) to switch, silicon oil helps.
-mine never came with a speed loader.. I'm waiting for one to arrive so it doesn't take 15 minutes to load one mag.
-not that many replacement parts out yet to replace the ones that will actually wear out (part 62)
-*adjustable npas equipped nozzle has been out of stock and looks like the reviews are hit or miss, so no CQB matches happening anytime soon with this rifle*.

"Bought this gun almost a year ago, it looks, sounds and performs awesome but the handgaurd fell apart. The rails screwed into snap in holes that kept coming out and the two screws that hold the handgaurd to the gun stripped. I suggest getting the polymer handgaurd with it.
Pros:
Outstanding look
Sounds incredible
Excellent for milsim
Cons:
Weak upper handgaurd
Shoots too hot for most places
Mags expensive
