"I bought this as my first airsoft revolver. I don't regret it. It is accurate, powerful, and easy to reload. I never feel at a disadvantage, even when the other team has full auto M4 AEGs

"Easliy one one the better airsoft sidearms I've used. This gun has enough power to punch through the bonus target paper, the mesh catcher, two layers of cardboard, and still retain enough power to ricochet off the wall behind that from over 30 ft away. It has a good, heavy weight to it, and aiming down the sights right out of the box will get you hits in about a fist sized area (although rear sight adjustment could use a little work).
The CO2 is easy to install and fits snug in the grip, and you wouldn't know it was there otherwise. Having the 8 round cylinder is nice, but firing takes a full trigger pull, so quick hipfiring like in a Spaghetti Western won't be something you can do (nor can you pull the hammer back manually). The speed loaders (3 included) keep the BBs in place when not loaded and they snap in pretty quick, but they can be a little easy to fumble with in the heat of a fight.
Overall, it looks good, sounds good, is very powerful, and it's a good price. A nice change from all the standard Glocks, M9's, M17's, etc. that are fairly common in Airsoft. And the included holster is a perfect fit, though pretty snug at first, so it will need some breaking in.
9/10 would buy again for rootin' tootin' dual wield shootin'

"This is a really good revolver. The frame is metal & very sturdy. The barrel is a polymer, not cheap feeling plastic. The thing is, the barrel can easily be taken off by punching the 2 retaining pins & replaced with a metal barrel. WG offers the kits in 2"-6" & they come with everything you need including inner barrel & even different handle covers. Not sure why the other reviews had barrel issues. The barrel is NOT glued on. 2 metal pins through the metal frame so even if the stock polymer barrel breaks just get a metal barrel. Gun comes with 3 speed clips.(this is the correct time to say "clip" unlike when people wrongly call magazines a "clip") For people wondering, YES the WinGun set of 5 BB loaders for 701, 702, 708 series DO in fact work for this Sport 705. They are exactely the same as the 3 that come with the gun. Gun is also single action/double action so you can cock the hammer & then fire or fire from de-cocked position. This gun is powerful & accurate although accuracy is in the hands of the shooter. Really good pistol.

"i had this gun a couple years ago and personally, i like it its accurate, and powerful, and ultimately was just a good gun. But the speedloaders will break eventually, and are easy to lose. and dont dryfire it

"Out of the box, this is maybe 2/5 stars because it is too hot to use at airsoft fields, because its power is inconsistent (450-550fps in double action, and 550-650fps when fired in single action), and because it Has. No. Hopup.

In terms of this model's potential for (advanced) after-market modification, this gets 4/5 stars. It would be 5/5 if you could buy upgrade parts yourself! This has the standard Dan Wesson revolver layout (in my favorite finish), and so there are lots of clever things you can do to it. Firstly, you can cut down the trigger spring to make it field-legal. The power fluctuation is more difficult to solve; i had to not only lube the trigger mechanism with silicon, but mill my own, longer barrel-nozzle attachment (and by mill, I mean clamp a metal file to a table, stick the revolver barrel in a screw gun, sand an AUG hopup down to just a barrel-shaped-tube, attach it to said barrel and then use the screwgun/file to "mill" it down to just-the-right-shape to fit in the revolver cylinders and feed a bb to the barrel). I also had to adjust the barrel spring to get a stronger, deeper positive engagement between the barrel-nozzle (the bb feed tube attached to the back of the barrel) and each revolver cylinder (where the shells/bbs are loaded). This also pushes the back of each shell into the co2 nozzle behind it, sealing the whole path from gas tank to muzzle break. That got me down to maybe a variance of 350-380fps, which is acceptable. This mod is a pain but worth it if you want a precise weapon.
You can also build a hopup without too much trouble, for which there are plenty of guides out there. On top of that, you can 3D-print shells for this that carry up to 7 bbs, which I have not done yet but plan to try, with the power cranked all the way up!!! You can add washers to the spring, or even drive a correctly-sized machine screw through the two thin layers of soft aluminum below the spring base-box, thus pushing the base-box / spring above it upwards, granting you infinitely adjustable FPS! The trigger itself was too difficult for me to modify, so you can probably expect your single action shots to always be more powerful by ~100fps.
Finally, the gun body is very sturdy, so you can count on it in the field, and I also took the liberty of hitting it with heavy metal objects and rubbing it with metal files, to give it a nice marred, "battle-scarred" look.

"Its a really cool revolver, but after a few months the barrel just fell off, its held on by a bit of glue and a tiny little pin

"Personally, I love this revolver. With mag-fed pistols being the most common (and for good reason), I just wanted to try something a little different. In my searching I came across this affordable piece. And to be honest, I absolutely fell in love with this one...even if it lacks a hop up. I'll just share some points about this gun:

1. The revolver is a weight to it but is balanced.
2. For some, having 8 rounds per clip (seems closer to what a clip is than what a mag is) may seem like a limitation for some, but I really enjoy that...maybe others will too.
3. It has power...so much so that I had to go in to the gun to weaken it for the sake of fps rules (you can do this by downgrading the hammer spring OR using a shorter hammer block in the handle.
4. Really easy and quick CO2 change...slide the grip to open the handle and and loosen the screw (which has a built in handle to help turn).
5. Fast reloads (for a revolver) because of the clip it uses...and the clips are very very chip compared to having to by shells. And also easy "clean up" mid-battle...just dump the clips into a dump ouch as you go.
6. The barrel is a polymer, but it is interchangeable. Just gotta knok out a few screws and change it with different barrels (some sites sell grip and barrels for this gun).
7. The grip is comfortable...and the safety-on-cylinder-release is really easy to work.
8. A really easy gun to take apart and maintain.
9. It does lack a hop up, but is still pretty accurate and effective in most pistol ranges. You just won't be going super super far.
10. Good CO2 consumption. I can shoot 20 clips (160 shots) with reasonable force...and about 2 clips (16) after with significant drop.
11. Because it functions like a real revolver, just handling the gun is really epic and makes you feel like you are achieving something.

Again, this is a challenging gun to use, but a real fun sidearm regardless. It's by far my favorite. If you wanted a revolver that was already field ready however, a Dan Wesson 715 was made with those fps limits in mind and a hop up, or an Elite Force H8R which lacks a hop up but does have the fps most fields allow.

"overall good gun but don't expect it to last more than 5 months as the seal is notorious for leakage and good luck trying to find spare parts for this thing cause its impossible.

Webmaster: Win Gun is a very reputable manufacturer and any and every part for this pistol can be obtained / ordered thru us.
