"very sturdy, has good weight to it. I dremeled a hole in the endcap just enough to reach the hicap winder and doesnt affect its durability. I want to try to replace the dummy shotty with a real one and still keep the battery where it is. if anyone has an idea find me

"can't believe I didn't discover this gun until now, my childhood wet dream came true. too bad there isn't a digital camo version, would go for that without question.

"Really love the gun, the metal and plastic is really sturdy and very well made. The counter is really cool and I like that it counts down the ammo and is really easy to see. Retractable stock is very sturdy and can be pressed hard against you (but it's airsoft so no need to) with no worry if it breaking or bending. The magazine takes a little getting used to putting it in since you have to slide it into the rails but once you practice enough with it it's easy to do. Fires fast on full auto but is very accurate and fires just as good on semi. Overall it's a great buy and if you don't put the battery in that lets you shoot it, you could use it as a prop at conventions. My only negative thought about it is that the magazine has to be wound up in order for the BBs to go into the rifle instead of there just being a spring that automatically pushes them in. It just makes it hard when I take it to airsoft battles because I constantly have to stop, undo the magazine cover and wind it to put more BBs in. I'm hoping they'll come out with a Magazine that doesn't require a winding mechanism and if they do then it'll definitely make it allot better. Overall it's still a great buy and I do recommend it.

"If you’re thinking of getting this Pulse Rifle, quit stalling and JUST BUY IT. You will not be disappointed. If you are at all a fan of the Alien universe, you need this rifle. There are more “screen accurate” PRs out there, but this one is 98% true to the original (extremely minor differences you really have to try to notice), for about 1/3 or even 1/10 the price as the non-firing replicas that have been out there for years. Seriously, $600-$3000 for a “hero” rifle that just hangs on the wall? Ok, maybe the counter lights up and you can rack the grenade launcher slide, but this thing does that and lays down a pretty impressive amount of BBs while making it extremely difficult to keep that smile off your face. I lucked out and got the forest camo on an epic deal AND got $15 off for first time buyer (thanks Evike). I disassembled mine- not difficult if you’re careful- and am painting it a more accurate Brown Bess color as in the movie. Looks like it shouldn’t be too hard to upgrade as it’s a Thompson under the shrouds and grenade launcher.

"Absolutely amazing rifle. This thing is PERFECT for any Colonial Marine cosplay or movie buff. It weighs exactly what a real weapon would weight.

"Just received my pulse rifle today. Love the weight and and the fps is beastly. I love just looking at it, but shooting it makes me grin from ear to ear.
9.6 battery is too long, but can fit with slight modification. Inserting the magazine along the guiderail takes some getting used to, but is not as bad as some make it out to be.
Buy it, if you are a fan of Aliens, you absolutely must. Can't put it down and I really dont want to go to work tomorrow; I want to stay at home and watch Aliens with my new pulse rifle. Hoping it functions well for years to come. Stay frosty people.

"I love this gun as much as I love the series it’s from. And when I die, this baby’s getting buried with me. Or sold to pay for my funeral because I’m broke AF

"Just received this gun on 10/17/2017 and opened it up and love it, being a huge Aliens fan. I thought this came with the battery and charger but it does not. I'll have to order them and wait before I can try it out. It's metal and plastic and feels heavy enough to believe that it is a real firearm. It has two orange caps over both front barrels. The larger one covering the grenade launcher portion can just be pulled right off and then slipped back on for legal reasons but the orange cap on the top barrel has some type of pins going through it making it difficult to remove it you tried. I may just paint the tip with some model paint and make it match the rest of the metal on the gun. Even if you don't buy batteries or BB's for it, right out of the box it is definitely a collector's item and enough to make any other Aliens fan drool.

"Very true to the movie Aliens .Awesome details on gun ,solid feel, weight and powerful hitting.Only problem is loading magazine into gun is very tricky.would be hard to reload under pressure in fire fight.

"first off. this is worth every penny.
I first saw aliens when i was 9 on vhs and wanted one since then.
I got the package today and it was HEAVY!! so I put the movie on my oldschool big screen tv and started unboxing. i tell you it was spiritual. when I pulled off the top and looked at it I just stared without touching it for probably almost five minutes and called my girl in. do note that it takes two batteries, a stick type and a 9 volt which are not included. The props id seen in the past were over a thousand dollars and after watching many reviews this is so much better as far as im concerned. moving parts heavy as heck, lots of metal. its just dope. if youre thinking about getting it, do it. absolutely do it. you wil know what it feels like to hold an m41A pulse rifle. as far as airsft rifles go, I really dont know because ive never played airsoft, but i dont give a crap, this is a pulse rifle. ive not had batteries in it yet, havnt fired it yet. dont care. its incredible as it is. fel the weight.

"Had this for a while now, it's still awesome. How do you go about general maintenance and cleaning of this thing? I have never cleaned an Airsoft gun before and I don't know what I should be paying attention to etc.

"As both a real firearms enthusiast as well as a hardcore Alien franchise fan, this unit is GREAT.
The magazine is the only real disappointment with the whole thing as it is a real pain.
If you have a bit of mechanical aptitude, you can shave a little here and there to make the magazine
go in and out much more easily.
The orange caps are glued on tight and all the removal methods I've tired didn't work.
I ended up simply masking the unit and painting the orange caps with a heat resistant flat black.
It definitely added a bit more realism to the unit.
