Lonex Aluminum Ventilated Piston Head for Standard Airsoft AEG Gearboxes

"well i one day i was tightening my stock polymer piston head which was serving me well untill this piont when i tightened too much and cracked it in half.. it was almost 2 years old and probably would have done it on its own had i not sped up the process so it was probably a good thing. plus it was around the time my sector and spur gears stripped so i had to order somthing anyway and i got this knowing lonex to be a decent company that doesent re brand like crazy (cough cough matrix cough cough) and it was aluminum which i wanted since plastic piston heads are less reliable. it sounds a bit like a sharp snap now compared to the meduim loud fhpop of a poly piston head. i do not own a chrono and i cant get to one anytime soon so i cant tell you if i got an fps increase/better consistencey but i dont seem to have any better than before and i even have a cnc cylinder hear thats new but im still running a stock brass cylinder set for an m4 cqb barrel but i have a 363 now so once i get a new cylinder i'llknow how well this really performs. One more thing, since it has ball bearings there is less room for the spring in the piston whichmeans its harderto set it in place when re assembling took me 3 tries untill i removed the plastic ring off my spring guide which was unescessary anyway and it fit together. the o ring it came with is really thick as well even a tiny bit thicker than my g&p o ring i had and almost double my stock one. All in all this is a great piston head i dont expect any future problems
