"So I had a problem with my WE G18C, the hammer wasn't catching and would discharge if the slide completely went forward, this caused the pistol to fire full auto while on semi AND without holding the trigger, I would bet I could set it on a table, release the slide and it would empty the mag by itself, no operation required.

However, when I got this product it solved all those problems, the gun fires fine now and when I installed it my first thought was (apart from the gun being fixed) that it fired harder, to the feel the hammer would hit harder as far as I could tell.

So any of you have an 18C and this is the same problem happening to you, this is DEFINITELY the product to get.

Signs you might have the problem
1.While filled with gas the gun may fire
2. If loaded with BB's the gun will fire automatically with a single trigger pull without holding (even when on semi)
3. You cannot remove the slide since the hammer is depressed and is in the way
4. Every time the slide finishes a cycle it will fire without pulling the trigger at all

The cause of these problems is a worn down hammer sear! Getting this product and installing it will fix your gun and is easy to install!!!

Bought this part to fix my WE G18C from going full auto from just tapping the trigger,
and it did so with moderate success.
My G18C will still fire full auto on semi,
but will at least stop when i release the trigger.

i recommend also buying the separate hammer part (45024) if you have this problem.
