"One of the best plate carriers out there. I always recommend this one if someone has the budget. But couldn't be more happier! I've had mine for 2 years and still looks great!

"I'm 6' 280lbs. with big chest and wide shoulders. I was pleasantly surprised that it expanded to fit me perfectly!
Quality, materials, and construction were all excellent, as you would expect from 5.11. A very comfortable wearing plate carrier.
I unreservedly recommend this product!

"I’m 5’6, 135 with a 30 inch waist, and this plate carrier fits great. I’ve had problems in the past, getting plate carriers to adjust to my small chest size, but this fits almost perfect. It can also adjust to a good size for someone with a large chest. It fits way better, is of way better quality, way more adjustable, and is much more comfortable than its Condor counterparts. It is very sturdy, and will last a long time. It is very light weight, Which is extremely nice. It is very breathable, even when you’re running all day. All the Velcro space is very nice. You can also feed any MOLLE pouch through the side panels/straps. Even if you’re carrying a lot of weight, the shoulder straps a very comfortable, due to the slight angle they have. Well worth the money. Very good product.

"I love my Tac Tec, upgraded to it from my condor rigs and the change in quality is noticeable. It's lightweight, even with my heavy GBBR mags, and forms to my body (Currently running without plates, though I plan on buying either a Qore Hydration plate or a Rogue Training plate set for it) There's plenty of patch space on it and adjusting the carrier is pretty easy, since it already hangs at that perfect spot. All in all a really nice and high quality plate carrier, worth every penny I spent on it.

"This plate carrier is extremely nice! It is very well made and very comfortable! The extra wide front panel is awesome I run a VFC 417 and can only fit one mag per pouch so having the room to run two Condor double M14 pouches on the front and an addition double pouch under my left arm allowing me to store 6 mids caps is perfect. I wouldn't be able to do this on any other carrier without it eating up all my storage under my right arm as well. If your like me and your very picky about how bulky your gear is this carrier has a very low profile. Even with plates and the internal foam cushions that create airflow the carrier does not stick out really far from your body. Adding plates with reduce sagging like any carrier. I love the bungee cummerbund sides prolly the best feature on this vest because you can snug it close to your body but then once you get moving and go prone/getting up from being prone the bungee sides will give you room to move with keeping everything snug in any position.

Two sorta cons but far from deal breakers the evike brand large plates will fit into this carrier but you cant seat the hook and loop right once their in, It will hold them securely but the hook part of the hook and loop dose not make full contact with the loop and rubs up against my combat shirt and boy can you feel it very uncomfortable! I purchases the matrix brand set medium size that comes with the side plates because the front and back panels measure 1.5" shorter in height and I think that will do the trick so id go with medium plates if you don't already have some and yes your larges will fit but it might not be super comfy. Finally I am a skinny guy the two sections of the cummerbund over lap each other when I snug the vest up against my torso. This causes the first section of molle on the side parts to actually be hidden under the front panel. Not a huge deal you still have room to mount something that takes 4 molle rows but it something to consider if your skinnier and want to mount like a 6 or 5 row utility pouch on the side.

Overall BUY THIS! Yes its $190 but like I said it is very well made, very comfortable and dose not look goofy or saggy or bulky like a lot of the cheaper carriers do,

"Have it and love it, love it to death. I've got two medium dummy SAPIS and they fill it out real nice. Alot of people criticize this for being too expensive.....but that's cause they don't own one. Once you fit this thing on and run some games with it, you'll question how you made due without it! The bottom section allows for a row of 4 mags (the big ones STANAG, AK, all that good stuff) however I run an M93R light loadout right now because I'm kind of addicted to CQB for the time being so I've got three extended mags and I don't even feel the weight. The padding is super comfortable, the ventilation doesn't skip a beat, just awesome everything is 100% what I imagined and more. On a more serious note, I am studying to become an officer which is part of the reason why I bought pretty much the most expensive plate carrier Evike has and I would trust this plate carrier with my life. Money doen't get you another life, but it sure as hell can help you keep the one you have if you buy this amazing piece of kit.

"This is an awesome plate carrier. Just remember, if you're looking for a shooter friendly vest, this is a little bit bigger than a jpc as it can hold large plates.

Pros:
-light
-velcro upper
-lots of molle space
-sapi plate space
-elastic cummerbund
-comfortable shoulder pads with space to run slings, comms, etc.
-yolk system very comfortable
-ventilation pads on the inside of the vest
-really good weight distribution as I run lots of pouches on the front and barely anything in the back

Cons:
-expensive (but real steel)
-molle on upper is smaller so it may be hard to adjust pouches to fit on upper
-velcro on inside is difficult to adjust for large plates

I highly recommend running large replica plates because they help the carrier from sagging, and it keeps it snug. 5/5 overall

"I bought my first one here (kangaroo/tan) 5 years ago. I have just bought my second one this past weekend for the sole reason I’m selling my other one to my brother for his new start up.

I love these, after shouldering many airsoft replicas I haven't found one that I struggle with! Even those bulky 249s. Attaching any kind of pouch was not an issue and has held up tremendously. I find i still get some nice breeze through the side to cool me off. The plate itself doesn’t breathe “the best” per day. But it does absorb sweat well.

I’m not too happy with the price. A lot would argue probably against my points with very fair objections with the price being what it is. Especially as a Canadian buying this. It was pretty steep.. both times (this time in green but on Black Friday).

I do really stand behind these plates tho and think if they are in your budget there really good for airsoft!
