"Like the previous reviewer, A MUST HAVE FOR ANY PTP M9 OWNERS. The metal feel is amazing compared to the stock polymer outer barrel.

At first, I panic'd a bit when the pins and inner barrel didn't fit (lol). However, I used a drill and belt sander to make the pin holes larger, and now they function beautifully.

"This barrel is a must have for anyone who owns the M9 PTP. The look, feel, and weight of the gun is perfect now with this installed instead of the plastic barrel. There are absolutely zero reasons why it should come with a plastic barrel, but at least this is here to fix that.

At this price, it's a complete steal. Please take note however, the pinholes were not bored out properly. I had to take a slightly larger drill bit and bore out the holes so the pins would slide through the barrel and into the inner barrel assembly. A pretty simple fix, just slightly annoying.

Overall, 10/10, I might buy a few spares for the heck of it.

"Not a bad replacement for the KWA M9 PTP stock barrel, it would technically drop in with some finesse. The stock hop up and return spring retention will fit perfectly, and will assemble in the same manner in which it was removed from the stock outer barrel. The only issue was attempting to fit both of the pins into the NEW outer barrel, the diameter was a little tight and should be opened with a drill for easier reassembly. The finish is nice and appears durable and scratch resistant, overall I would reccomended as a replacement for a damaged factory barrel.

This barrel is not threaded, it contains faux rifling on the end. You can use the nineball thread adapter or drill and tap the front end for barrel thread needs.
