"I bought this gun a few months ago. I was looking for something that had better range than my SCAR-H and was not as unwieldy in close quarters situations as my M14. The SR-25 has delivered. First, the rifle is heavy. If you don't have upper body strength (some of you skinny guys I see at the field), then don't get this gun. You'll be worn out at the end of the day just from carrying and aiming this heavy piece of metal.

Pros:
Outranges my VFC SCAR, but not my G&G M14; which is exactly what I wanted.
SR25 isn't a commonly seen weapon on the airsoft field
Hi-caps (and mid caps) hold an astronomical amount of BBs

Cons:
Heavy (for you skinny folks)
Mags aren't cheap, and are sometimes hard to find (mids)
20LR Pmags DO NOT FIT IN THIS GUN. I had to sand all three of mine down over 1/4 inch on each side to make them fit; but they look sick once you do.

Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. Looking forward to slinging ridiculous amounts of plastic with her!
