"I would have agree....this gun so reliable I've had it for about 2 years. I actually call my gun "Ole Faithful".

"One of the best assault rifle I ever used in my life, gun weight is perfect, performance is flawless and the parts and mechanics of the gun is right for the the price. Battery is not too sensitive meaning it will not break off easily, the battery compartment is to put your battery in and can use many battery sizes. Comes with a great mag that holds 120 bbs. The gun is easy to maintain and take apart.
Had this gun for 3 years and it still functions really well.

"Got this G&G as my fist airsoft gun besides a cheap one I had before. Amazing gun with a really nice polymer body with metal insides. At fist when I got it I thought it was full metal from the coldness from the mail truck. It was a very nice weight but isn’t light. It fires very consistently and the iron sights are metal. Everything about it feels really nice and strong. The mag with it is awesome so far. The upgraded charger it nice and easy to use.

"LET ME START BY SAYING THAT I LOVE TIS GUN. IT IS POWERFUL, ACCURITE, FUN, AND DURABLE. I DO RECOMMEND USING HIGH QUALITY BBs TO ENSURE PROPPER FEEDING. HOWEVER, THAT CAN BE SAID ABOUT ANY GOOD QUALITY GUNS. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE BARREL IS A LITTLE LOOSE UNDER THE RAILS, BUT I BELEIVE I CAN FIX THIS MY SELF. OVERALL IT IS AN EXELLENT GUN. I WOULD BUY ANOTHER ONE IN A HEARTBEAT

"So far so good! I got this rifle because the G&G raiders couldn't seem to get restocked for a very long time. I don't think there's much different in the two outside of cosmetics. It's a sturdy gun, not much wobble at all. Out of the box it's shoots pretty good. Decent range and rate of fire. Nothing to brag about but for the price and an M4 platform you can't beat it. The flip up sights are nice as well as the rail guards. I've used various mags with it and it has done fine. The little spacer for the crane stock holds a butterfly battery perfect reducing any sliding around making the gun feel solid as well. 1000 rounds and so far no problems.

"So I just got the gun and have only put a couple mags through it, so take this review with a grain of salt.
I'll start with the build quality. Although it is primarily polymer (not cheap ABS), there are more metal components than you think. The outer barrel is a two-piece construction and is held in place by set screws. Overall the outer barrel is pretty solid, however, I added some blue Loctite for peace of mind. The rail system is held in place by two screws connected to the barrel nut. I added some Loctite to those too, but it really isn't necessary. Out of the box, the entire weapon system is extremely solid. It's also very light-weight due to its polymer construction. Mine has been outfitted with a 3x magnifier, T-1 Micro, G&P DBAL, NE Mini Scout on an offset mount, SR-07 style tape switch, and an AAC style suppressor/steel flash-hider. I know that seems like a lot of stuff to hang on one gun, but all together it weighs just under 10 lbs which is comparable to some full metal AR's on the market.
Onto performance. I've been using a 9.6v NiMH battery and I am quite impressed with the trigger response and RoF. For a so called "beginner gun" it's better than you might think. I've heard of the feeding issues this gun has had for others. I can't quite give my thoughts on what the problem is but, with G&P Evike 120rd mid-caps, I haven't had a single issue. Plus they're cheap ($15). Eventually, I plan on picking up a 7.4v LiPo, Prometheus tight bore, and possibly installing a MOSFET with deans connectors.
I wouldn't call this a beginner gun. It's an intermediate gun at a beginner price. It's an incredibly versatile weapon system. Barrel length is short enough for maneuverability in CQB environments (why the Mk18 was invented). You get more rail space than you would a standard 14.5" M4 carbine. The battery is rear wired with a fuse which is a plus. Clone correct sling plate at the rear of the lower receiver which is also nice. The included rail covers are a nice touch (easily cut to fit different accessories). Only thing I don't like is the iron sights. They're good quality. They lock in place and are easy to adjust, however, they are very difficult to flip up & down. One last thing, this is the first M4 airsoft gun out of the dozens I've owned that included a front sight adjustment tool. That just blows me away.
Anyways, sorry for the lengthy review. Just buy this gun already.

"I bought this gun about 4 years ago. It was my first ever gun. I beat the crap out of it. Smacked the barrel on everything. Dropped the gun multiple times. Gun never failed on me. Worked perfectly everytime i shot. I even dropped it of a table onto the barrel, the barrel was lose and shaky.. and it still shot perfect and straight. Definitely the best gun ive ever owned. Better than my two elite forces combines. Definitely a good buy. Go for it. You will not regret it. Extremely durable and good looking gun. Feels good. Nice weight. Perfect for anyone.

"I bought this gun in store, initially as a backup gun, and through constant mishaps with my old set up and problems with my older guns, this ended up becoming my primary. As I've been using it for a while, I come to say I've come to love mine. The gun has very tight grouping, even over distance. While some people have said the stock mag has problems or the gun itself has had problems, I've only come across maybe twice (outside of a game) where this gun or the mag did not feed properly. During game however, it performs incredibly well, going so far as I can hit targets whom I just see a sliver of. My only problem is it, other than me just personally not liking Polymer, although the one on this gun is incredibly sturdy, is that my upper and lower are a tiny tiny bit misaligned. That hasn't effected performance however, so I'm happy to say I love owning this gun. If you want a silencer as well, there is a silencer that fits right on top of the stock orange tip, although I had to buy that somewhere else.
Pros:
-Tight grouping
-Hits far out
-One of the most reliable guns I've owned so far
-Polymer is pretty durable
-Lots of rail space
-Trigger response is pretty decent
Cons:
-Upper and Lower are not 100% aligned, but this hasn't caused any problems for me (yet)
-Either the gun or the stock mag misfeed sometimes (although both times it happened to me were outside of a game, never during)
-Stock sometimes doesn't fully push in when a battery's inside (although that happens with some crane stock batteries)

"I bought this for my first airsoft gun as I've read other reviews and have heard this to be a great beginner/intermediate level gun. Getting into the sport I didn't want to spend the cash on a 3 to $400 gun and was looking for something with great performance that wasnt gonna break the bank and this is exactly the gun for that. It's made of a very strong polymer and isn't going to break very easily, and shoots pretty good as well. I've made hits fairly easily in the 150-200 ft range without any sort of optic and it's chronoing about 370-380 with 9.6 nimh. I've done a few different Milsim events with it and have used it many times for weekend play.
Pros:
Decent ROF
range
G&G durability
CHEAP for the performance you get
Cons;
polymer (even though its very strong and isn't gonna break, I personally would like metal)
Stock slightly wobbly
Overall a great gun for beginner/intermediate level play.

"This is a great gun for a beginner / intermediate player!
Pros:
Great fps
Accurate
Lightweight
Affordable
Cons:
Sometimes the bucking only lets the bb shoot about 20 feet in front of you
Can't think of anything else!

"A really nice gun! Although the first couple times I shoot this gun with a fresh mag, first shots don't come out right, but gets great after that. After a while that problem went a way. Also my stick type 11.1 lipo battery does fit even though a butterfly type is recommended. I also got a red dot sight I wanted, with the gun for free, due to the Evike Epic Bonus Program.
Pros:
good magazine
nice iron sights
lightweight
ladder rail covers
Cons:
ugly "flash hider"
minor feeding issue

"This rifle is great, after owning this CM18 for nearly three year it has endured a lot of torture. from falling to the ground to me slipping into a puddle, submerging it in water the only things i have replaced is the hop up and the nozzle just because they were polymer and this rifle has survived the most out of all of my primaries.
