The G&P M14 DMR Recon is built like a tank with its solid metal barrel assembly and heavy duty polymer stock. The compact design of the Recon, when compared to a full size M14, allows the rifle to be fielded for long range engagements while still remaining compact enough to be used for room clearing and CQB situations. Whether you are scouting or making a full assault, the G&P M14 DMR Recon is a great primary weapon. Internally the M14 Recon is LiPoly ready with a reinforced ver.7 metal gearbox allowing use with up to 11.1v batteries for improved trigger response time as well as increased rate of fire.

"This is a very good gun, it worked great for years. I’m getting a new one because mine had water damage and was rusty everywhere. There is something that’s bringing me back to buy this gun again over other guns and I think it is because of performance and looks.

"BUY THIS GUN. PERIOD.

Guys, this weapon is my primary and it is a force to be reckoned with stock, but after adding an AIM 2-7x32, a Prometheus 500mm 6.03 inner barrel, a Matrix 150mm mock suppressor, and a Magpul AFG, it looks incredibly sexy and it can pull headshots at 100 ft with Krytac .28s. _:)

Pros:
-Decently accurate stock (add the Prommy barrel and it can shoot the wings off a fly)
-Pretty powerful
-High ROF
-Shims suuuper quiet
-Will strike fear into the hearts of your enemies

Cons:
-Hop-Up is a little finnicky
-Heavy (can be a pro)
-You don't own it

"After about 3-4 months of use im ready to review this gun.

I hate long reviews so ill do pros and cons

Pros;
Great out of the box
fast rate of fire
decent range
UPGRADEABILITY!!!!!! YOU CAN UPGRADE THIS GUN AND MAKE IT THE BEST DMR ON THE FIELD!!!!!

Cons;
selector switch is loose and has fallen off
mags are hard to find
