"I'm very new to Airsoft, and I wanted to get a gun that would do me well for a good long while, and hold up to what would likely be a fair amount of dropping and thrashing over the coming months. So I did a lot, (two months worth) Of research on just about every Rifle i could find on here for under 200$. I didn't want to spend my money on something that was going to let me down, I researched companies, stock-reliability, watched countless YouTube reviews and read up on as many guns as i could.
I have to say, without a doubt, if you are looking for an M4-style platform that performs well, is rock-solid and has stand-up internals, go with this gun. I have dropped it, bumped into things with it, run thousands upon thousands of rounds through it (I've easily used it for around 20 hours of Airsofting by now) and it has not yet once failed, jammed, or even died on me,
Pros
- Amazing battery life. I ran my very first Airsoft game on full-auto, with a 9.6v Lipo. This was over about 5-6 hours of play throughout the day, and i didn't even get a drop in FPS or power.
-Sturdy as hell. Like I said, this gun has taken a beating and it's still kicking. The plastic/composite stock is extremely sturdy, and the metal body is just as strong. I haven't had next to zero wobble.
-Solid internals. I haven't had a single issue with internals, not one jam, hiccup or anything besides.
-Versatility. It's small, so it's wonderful for CQB environments, but it also has decent range/accuracy for non CQB settings, I can get decent groupings at around 60-70 yards. You won't be nabbing any headshots at 100+ yards, but, if you're looking to do that you probably aren't going to be looking at this kind of M4 anyway.
-Solid FPS. I Chrono between 385-405 FPS consistently,
Cons
-Heavy (Could be a Pro) It is full metal, with the only plastic being the stock. expect it to weigh as much. I personally like it for the realism factor.
- L O U D. I cannot emphasize this enough. This gun is loud, (Again, could be a Pro) I like it, I think it's kinda net, but you will not be shooting with any sort of stealth.
-Front rails wobble. They came pretty sturdy, but slowly have gotten somewhat wobbly, but only to a certain point. I have yet to figure out how to tighten them. It really doesn't bother me very much anyway.
-Stock flip-up sights come VERY loose. You need to get an allen-key and tighten them, as soon as you take it out of the box, tighten the rear flip-up sights. I lost my rear sights on my first game and didn't even realize it until we had left the field, had to order new ones. Tighten them down and you won't have an issue.
With all that said.
BUY THIS GUN.
This is one of the best M4-style guns for airsoft newbies. I'll be using it for a very, very long time, and plan to eventually get upgrades and deck it out pretty nice. It won't fail on you and is a reliable, hardy little machine.
"Great gun, the rail wobbles a bit but it works great. Only problem is mine is shooting 425 which is just over my fields limit to use auto, so I'm converting it to a DMR.
Pros:
Lots of metal (good weight)
Large battery room in the stock
High FPS
Easy to take apart
Cons:
High FPS(too high for some fields)
Heavy
Rails wobble a bit
"this gun is awesome, pretty good accuracy for the barrel size, good range and ROF
ripped 25 rounds a second with my 25C lipo, only problem was when i opened up the gearbox after about 1000 rounds the gears were missing about 9 teeth, switched em out for matrix high speed gears now its fine. perfect for cqb, so easy to move around with
i would recommend this gun to anyone who plays cqb or just has a fast game pace who likes to get in close and run up on the enemy
