"Got this in with my a&k Pkm and I was thrilled it adds a little weight to the gun but it make the gun up to a new level. The only bad thing was that some of the screws had rust on them

"The Avengers PKM rail fills a 'yuuuuge' void in the gun's design.
Pros:
+The RIS adds much-needed space to the gun for a better, more natural grip.
+Even without rails covers added, it is extremely comfortable to hold.
+Pretty easy to install. Would be much easier if you have three hands, but very doable with two.
+Finely crafted rails. No wobble at all with any the accessories I have on there.
+This is very very well-made. Full metal construction and built with Russian spirit. It's basically idiot-proof. You would need to be insanely accident prone to break or damage this rail kit. I'm talking like Mr. Bean couldn't defeat this RIS.
Cons:
-Adds about a pound or so to an already heavy gun. Personally, I like the added heft, but most would see this as a con.
-Blocks the MOSFET. I also see this as an upside since I prefer not to use mine, but I'm a bit different.
-While it is a very straightforward installation, there are no instructions included.
-The pricing is kinda steep, but luckily it works with coupon codes and it's well worth what you pay.
Overall, a wonderful buy for any PKM/PKP setup. If you're looking at picking one up, go ahead and go for it!

"As a heavy gunner, I feel like I need to have the biggest and heaviest gun on the airsoft field. The problem with this way of thinking is that I tend to get a gun that I have trouble lifting at the end of the day. Shouldering a PKM is just hard to do after 4 hours of running with the assault rifle guys. I needed something that would help me keep up with them. Then I found this product.
With this rail on the PKM, I am able to add a side grip to the PKM. This makes it easier to hip fire and helps me shoulder the gun without having the box mag get in my way. Because I can grip the PKM on the side and I son't have to reach my arm all the way around the box mag to get a grip, I can now airsoft longer without feeling as fatigued.
When I received this product, it was completely assembled in a white box. All I had to do is remove the 6 screws on the bottom and slip it over the PKM's mounting point and I was ready to go. This thing is solid, probably the most solid piece on the PKM thanks to it's pot metal design. I can also mount other bi-pods to the bottom of the PKM.
Since the PKM already weighs about 23lbs, adding this 1lb attachment does start to add up. This is why heavy gunners need to run this weapon with a heavy gunner sling. Something with 2 points and padded. With a 2 point sling attached to the PKM, this attachment makes no difference in weight. Do not use this attachment if you have your PKM on a 1 point sling. Also, if you are not using your bi-pod, then why do you even use a machine gun?
For something really crazy, this attachment can be used to attach 2 small grenade launchers on the sides and one bog grenade launcher on the bottom. Normally this would block the front sling point but the top rail lets you add another sling attachment to the top, therefore keeping your sling out of the way of the grenade launchers.
Pros:
Adds 4 rails to the PKM: two sides, a bottom, and a top rail.
Very solid construction.
Does not block the existing bi-pod.
Allows new bi-pods to be attached, or a grenade launcher.
No difference in weight with a 2 point sling attached.
Allows you to add a side grip.
Cons:
Blocks the MOSFET controls (if your MOSFET is still working).
Notes:
The top rail is low, this is probably because you are not supposed to use it to mount sights. Sights should be mounted on the other PKM attachment for sights.

"I was so excited when Evike stocked these since I had seen them on other Chinese websites for awhile. Yes this is a very expensive product but if you want to outfit your PKM with accessories or a foregrip thi is the way to do it.
The rail arrives in 4 pieces in a plain thin white box which fell apart once I took it out with the rest of my order. It comes with the tools needed and everything is wrapped in bubble wrap. Apart from that you don't get anything in the way of instructions or paperwork. The rails are fairly simple to install. Make sure you start with the bottom rail and hold it in place while installing a side rail fingertight. Then move to the other side and do the same. After it can hold itself in place align it with the body of the gun and alternate tightening sides. Once the sides and bottom are on you will notice you have these tube-like spacers. These set in the round slots on the tops of the side rails. Now set the top section down on these and install the screws. Make sure to press the rail down when you do or it might pop out and install misaligned.
The kit is all aluminum with very nice Russian markings on the sides indicating the RU company that made the rail kit. It does a nice job of filling in the gap between the outer barrels but does add a good bit of weight to the gun. You can still fold the bipod underneath the rails but it does block the rate of fire mosfet adjustment. Hopefully this piece was disabled and removed before but if you do use it you can't adjust it with the rail on.
Pros:
Very solid construction with nice cuts and quality black finish.
Allows all sorts of attachments with plenty of rail space.
Makes your PKM look very "tacti-cool".
Doesn't block folding the bipod.
Cons:
Crappy packaging.
Expensive (works with coupon codes).
Adds a lot of weight.
Blocks mosfet (if you still use yours).
Top rail sits very low so using a riser is suggested.
Overall I am very happy even if it was an expensive purchase. It adds a very cool new look to your PKM even if you choose not to use a sight with the rail.
