"I've used this gun for over a year now and fielded it multiple times. Strictly a cqb gun. I have never had an issue with this gun in the entirety of playtime outside of a small battery compartment. That is literally the only downside to the gun is small battery storage. If you need a solution when you are in a pinch that will never let you down, this is the one to get. The electronic firing system is incredible. Every single pull of the trigger no matter how fast or slow is read and puts the gun through a full cycle shot. It never misses a beat. It's so quick to cycle, people have actually mistaken me for using full auto while playing indoors. As far as cqb weapons go, it's honestly way ahead of pretty much any other brand I believe. I recommend getting batteries that are long and very thin, AK batteries in particular. If you want to have the best, most reliable cqb weapon you'll ever lay hands on, this is the one, trust me.

"I bought the CCR about a week ago in anticipation for a few big events and MilSim Ops I have coming up. Just put it through its first run and it performed better than I expected. I was a bit nervous about the battery not fitting like others have mentioned, but I managed to get a 9.6v stick battery into the battery compartment with no serious issues at all. I stand by the 9.6v battery recommendation as it really does perform well with it. It is a lightweight and hard-hitting gun for its size with a great rate of fire shooting at ~360 FPS (with a 9.6v stick type).
Pros
+ Small and compact
+ Very lightweight
+ Large mag release makes changing out mags super easy
+ Uses M4 style mags
+ Programmable firing modes
Cons
- Small side rails make it difficult to mount accessories
Overall an awesome weapon if you're looking for something light and compact!

"i got the Ameoba CCR a couple months ago and took it out to a few games both indoor and outdoor (in the winter) and it preformed spectacularly! the only problem ive had is that its hard to find a lipo battery that will fit in the battery compartment. but other than that its a great gun. that i use as a backpack weapon for my saw.
pros:
compact
lightweight
good rpm
superb distance for a cqb smg(as far as i know)
durable (as long as you aren't trying to break it)
good fps
and some stuff you'd have to shoot it to know
cons:
small battery compartment
and not sure what else
in short, love the gun and recomend it to everyone

"I don't know how to delete my last review so I made another. I take back a few things I said before. First, the rails are in fact metal, probably aluminum. They just looked and felt like plastic, but are pretty sturdy. However, the width seems a little to wide to fit some accessories. Second, it shoots harder than I anticipated. With an 8.4v battery it shoots at ~325 fps. But I still stand by the fact I did not like finding out after purchasing the recommended battery, that it did NOT fit. It would be beneficial for future buyers if they would change the battery recommendation from 9.6v to 8.4v small stick battery.
Pros:
Compact
Light
Uses M4/M16 magazines
Programmable fire modes!
Inspired multipurpose battery compartment/rail riser/integrated sights
Inspired new look for an M4
Cons:
Rails are a little too wide for some accessories
Wrong recommended battery
I can get over the whole battery issue and I can say this is a great gun.

"So I recieved mine in the mail yesterday and I cannot stress this enough, Stick type batteries do not fit. According to the Product Description, it is recomended that a 9.6 stick type be used. THESE DO NOT FIT. I'm honestly completely clueless as to what non lipo battery does fit, because if you go off the 'Customers who bought this product also bought', everyone is buying stick types that as I mentioned, DO NOT FIT.
The gun itself is beautiful, with build quality very good by my standards. The mag release is a really nice feeling, I like it more than I thought I would. Other than the Battery issue, This gun is amazing. Great looks, Great Price, and Great Quality Control.
Sadly it looks like until I make my way up to the Airsoft shops around me (Both an hour away) I will have to use a Peq box to hold a Nunchuck battery.
Gun is 10/10, Just wish Evike would put a link on the description LINKING to the batteries this takes.

"Alright purchased this gun two months ago. Just put this gun through operation Ironclad in Haddesburg, MS. I have out around 2000 rounds through it just this weekend, that is not counting the countless CQB indoor play that I have gotten from this gun. Got some people asking "how do I make it shoot harder" all I did is double the already insanely short barrel and this puppy was pushing 370-380 fps on the chrono. However "DO NOT USE A 11.1 ON THIS GUN" it snapped the tapping plate like a twig, and a friend fried his whole triggering system after running about two mags through the gun. I use a 7.4 small stick type. Firefox is supposed to be coming out with a battery for the Amoeba line (super stoked)! Okay the electronic trigger system on this gun(dear sweet baby jebus) the trigger response on semi is nothing short of amazing! Over all if you have a squad that runs M4 style mag and need to be light on your feet(medics) I highly recommend this gun!
Pros:
-CQB Style maneuvering is a breeze
-Two pins pops off the upper receiver allowing for an easy barrel change.
-Quick change spring.( had to dremel out my own channels for the spring to come out)
-Electronic trigger system
-Plastic body (allows it to be very light weight)
Cons
-Battery selection is very slim
-tapping plate snapped after being told by a dealer that an 11.1 would be fine(THIS WAS NOT EVIKE.COM THAT TOLD ME THIS)
-you are reading this and not buying one

"Very awesome cqb pdw. The electronic trigger is sweet. Accurate to about 30 yds.
My only complaint is it is weak right out the box. Shoots about 250 300 fps.

"A great compact m4 style gun. It shoots hard enough for CQB, but could be higher. I am a little disappointed every rail was plastic. My biggest issue would have to be is the battery compartment does NOT fit a 9.6v small stick batteries like they "recommend". Seems it only fits lipos or 8.4v small stick batteries.
Pros:
Compact, especially with stock folded
Inspired design for battery compartment
Cons:
Plastic rails
Shoots a little too weak even for CQB, but can easily be upgraded
9.6v small stick battery does NOT fit as recommended
Overall I love the look and feel of this gun. but I just cannot get over the battery issue

"Well over all i love the look of this gun. When i got it it was pritty sturdy and had metal picarini rails. There was a bit of gimmie in the barel which was trouble some and the polymer frame flexed a little to much for my liking but it isnt anything to wory about the gun is sturdy and well built. The stock does wort my because it wouble a bit but ive only had the gun like 4 houres now. Downside is within like 5 to 10 minutes of oppening the box and taking the gun out i loaded exacly 90 round and shot around 75 to 80 of those rounds untell the gun broke. Yup you herd me within 5 to 10 minutes this gun broke. But dont wory ive talked to the guys from evike and they have ensured me that this has never happend before and the are going to repair the fun for me. But thats gana take two weeks so that sucks. Over all this is a good gun, aside from my infortanate misadventrue with is, and i would recomend this gun. The batery compartment does seem a bit small but any slim batery should be fine like a Lipo or what not. Also becuase of the polymer frame the magazine likes to give you trouble when reloading and doesnt just slide out nicely. Nothing a little oil cant fix. I would recomend this gun i have herd great things about it, and anything you here about it thats bad is people just bashing the Ares brand name and not pointing out conns of the gun. I would have recomended 4 outa 5 stars if my gun hadnt broke right out of the box. So take care tell me what you guys think about the gun in the reviews or comments below, and like always Stay classy San Diego.
