Con:
Not your traditional foam padded case but it's not like my metal airsoft gun will get scratched by the acrylic and polymer.

To use it for a transportation medium you may want to add a black insert to fully keep it away from public eye.

All and all, it is what you see here, if you are looking for the best way to showcase your collections then this is it, I haven't seen anything like it, at least not for $40.

Limited flexibility does not make this pistol case universal. It will fit most types of pistols but not perfect or as secured as the P226/P229/M&P9. However, fitting the magazine is a different story. It will not fit any 1911 magazines (TM and KSC/KWA based .45Cal), USPs, Hi-capas, XDMs, PX4s, Glocks unless side ways and without the lock. The magazine holder fits the P226/P229/M&P quite snug, so there isn't any room for even slightly larger magazines to fit ie. XDMs, PX4s, and Glocks.
A suggested modification is to carefully heat the two bottom plastic tubes and squish them like an oval, then they will fit the XDMs, PX4s, and Glocks magazines snugly. Do not heat the top tube with the screw and lock nut or it will not function.
Pros:
- nice see-thru presentation case with LED lights;
- fits most pistols without separate magazines;
- sturdy and tough corners, nice spring action push open, looks well design.
Cons:
- does not fit most magazines without slight modifications;
- does not fit any 1911/USP/Hi-Capas magazines
- scratches easily;
- uses at least 3x AAA batteries, so if you have a lot of them, plan to buy AAA bulk pack too!
- difficult and long to assemble and set up pistol and magazine fittings.
Summary:
- Overall achieves the intended purpose of being a pistol case and display case at the same time.
