*note: The 2014 APS gearbox no longer comes with a MOSFET The ASR40- is a traditional M4A1 style AEG commonly used by the majority of both serious and new airsoft players due to the wealth of aftermarket accessories available for it. With the help of our patented HYBRiD Gear Box, this non blow back airsoft gun generates only 10 Amperes while in operation. increasing battery life while in the field and increasing the overall shooting performance when firing the gun. The new motors used for the ASR have been improved upon to be more efficient thus lowering the drain on your battery by about 20% so they last longer between charges.

" Bought this as my very first airsoft gun. I have owned mine for 6 months with no problems and have had no problems with it so far. Build quality is good and the whole gun has a nice feel to it. Paint on the receiver does scratch rather easily. Mine currently has a Matrix 3000 speed motor, SHS 16:1 gears and a M100 spring.
" I have owned mine for 1 year now and it's been amazing. The whole dust cover setup is pretty horrible, however it's very simple to take of and does not affect performance at all. Also, I have gone through 3 different springs, because this gun has a really high compression rate so if you need a specific fps buy a lower spring.
