"Bought this for a build I was working on and I couldn't be happier with it. My tech had to do a little bit of work to get it to fit my KWA VM41 but it looks great. Surprisingly light and low prifile, the pics don't do it justice. There are dimples along the side of it that give it a smooth feel. Just has a very sleek and clean look to it. I'm pretty sure that I will look to this company for future builds.

"Installation is extremely easy, even without an AR wrench.
I installed it on my G&G CM16 Raider XL, even used the stock barrel. Just had to dremel off the front sight. Paired with an angel custom mock suppressor for my extended barrel this thing looks badass!.
The images in the 'manual' (just a sheet) are not really clear but the system is really simple with just 3 pieces (and the rails) so you kind of hint what you need to do. Blue loctite is heavily encouraged.
Its really lightweight, love the feel and the looks. Definitely would recommend.

"This rail looks AMAZING.
The only con I can think of is putting on the barrel nut. It is EXTREMELY tight. You will need a AR wrench/multi tool, without it you will not be able to assemble this. But after some work, my gun is no longer just another M4. By the way I have a KWA SR10. So if you're wondering if it works, it does

"Awesome value. This looks amazing on my King Arms BW15 Sniper. The system fit flawlessly with perfect mating to my upper reciever. System is comfortable in hand, and is smaller and tighter that I expected, in a good way. I love it.
Installation was easy. System comes with a front barrel support that looks cool, but its not needed, I ommited this part in favor of my gas tube, stock gas tube could not be routed through or around this part without modification. System is plenty solid used as a free-float.
My one complaint is that the rail segments included are made of die cast metal. They look of passable quality, but they will add some weight.

"Absolutely recommended, be aware however that the keymod nuts are fairly weak, there is a tiny wobble (at least on my M4) and if you want a PEQ box you will have to shave down your battery connector in order to fit it through the keymod slots. that said, all in all a beautiful piece of equipment that instantly raises your intimidation stats.

"I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight robust handguard for a DMR build. I put this together with a matrix 20"barrel and the aps 1.1 flash hider and looks all round BA.
Pros.
Lightweight
Robust
Amazing looking
Easy to install
Very customizable
Cons.
Barrel nut is very difficult to get onto g&p spec recievers (ironically including aps's own receiver)

"First thing I'd like to add. This is incredibly difficult to install onto a G&P upper receiver.
It required me and a friend to both hold the gun and a wrench to get the barrel nut onto the receiver. But once it was on, this thing is a dream. I have never loved a rail system as much as I love this free float keymod RIS. It is so light and comfy to hold. I will never go back, I'm so happy with this.
Pros:
Keymod allows you to install rails where you want them.
Super light.
Looks super sexy.
Cons:
Difficult to install on a G&P
You don't own it yet.
Overall, this is a brilliant product. 5 out of 5.

"I'm really impressed with the quality and rigidity of this rail system. I put it on my Apex M4 RIS and there was no hassle. I also ordered a G&P low profile gas block it actually didn't fit but no worries it's not necessary. This thing is solid even with out a gas block. It's super light and a good alternative to all the Madbull, Daniel Defense, etc rail systems which range from $90 and up. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a solid, good looking, lightweight, and fairly cheap rail system. Oh and I forgot to mention the top rail is dead on with my upper no worries about having a lop sided or crooked rail. Be careful installing the inner threaded piece at the front it's easy to cross thread have patience it will pay off.

"I love the look these rails have my m16, that and the weight that they saved helps with my m203 launcher. My only issue that i had was that the barrel nut was to big to fit into the rails but i was able to fix it being that i work in a machine shop. I'm going to assume that i just got a bad one, regardless it's a very nice rail kit.

"Pretty good. Makes my gun look bad ass. I have a G&G CM16 Raider-L. I used a 6 inch outer barrel with a 6.5 inch surpressor looks amazing. Although the first one i got had a defect in it.

"This rail is extremely nice looking, comes with everything you need, as far as the way it installs is super simple and widely compatible.
however,
the barrel nut and rail are extremely out of spec on mine, there is roughly a 1-2mm difference between them, and thus upon arrival the rail couldnt slip over the barrel nut. I have been dremmeling and filing the rail bit by bit to correct this. (much easier fix with a lathe...) this I am sure is specific to my purchase and spotty QC may explain this and why some other have had some issues fitting. This is also not the first APS product ive had to work on, it seems everything I get from them requires modification. But I love their designs and the prices are good too, so I keep comin back.
overall
look and feel 5/5,
price 5/5
QC: 0/5

"Horrible for me.
The APS barrel nut will not slide into the rail. The rail almost looks like the diameter tapers down so that its too small the slide barrel nut into it. Making this whole thing impossible to assemble and essentially being a waste of money.

"I received this RIS today and unfortunately I have to rate this a 1/5.
First I noticed that the box had been resealed with scotch tape. (no biggies right?)
After unpacking it I noticed it look like it had been in a fight with a grinder and a wire brush. Only on the inside though... Weird..
Tried to attach to my A&K M16, Barrel nut fit great! But the next step is sliding the RIS over the barrel nut to mount.
That's when I realized why this thing looked like it was in a fight. It wouldn't fit over it's own barrel nut to attach as shown. I tried some good force, yet nothing would work. Defective product...
After taking it back apart, I sadly stared at this rail system I bought.. Got an idea! I put the barrel nut in the wrong end to see if it would fit. Sure enough it did.. To bad though. Because the muzzle support screws into that end and there is no way to attach the barrel nut to the RIS. So I believe that APS machined this part backwards somehow.. Defective product..
Had everything worked and it hadn't gotten into a fight with a wood chipper I would have rated it this:
5/5
The CNC Aluminum felt awesome and sturdy.
Very Lightweight and cool looking.
The rails mounted firmly and felt sturdy as hell.
I'm probably going to buy this same system again assuming that I got a "dud"
Now I'm waiting on Evike to hopefully send me an RMA number for an exchange. Although with all the cosmetic damage (obvious metal file/grinder work) on it I'm concerned that they'll deny me.
So be Forewarned! If you get a "dud" it's a hella bad "dud"
