FPS Range: 380-499
*Scope not included Devastation; the word that comes to mind when thinking about the AW338 Sniper Rifle. The rifle was designed with long-range engagements in mind, and when in the right hands is one of the most effective sniper rifles of its time. The AW338 also has the benefits of being lighter weight and produces a smaller noise and muzzle flash signature than its .50 BMG counterparts. The AW338 has been in service since 1996 seeing use by sniper teams around the world and even holds the record for the longest range sniper kill at 2,707 yards (over 1.5 miles).
UFC has done a truly great job of recreating the tried and true long-distance AW338 sniper rifle. When you pick up this rifle it has a nice, hefty feel to it, thanks to its steel outer barrel assembly. The metal bolt mechanism is nice and smooth and is linked to a robust trigger assembly that can handle up to a 500+ FPS spring. The stock is molded from high strength nylon-reinforced polymer that gives the rifle an overall solid feel in the hands; definitely worthy of airsoft skirmishing in any environment. An adjustable steel bipod with QD mounting bayonet is included and when combined with the built-in steel rear monopod provides an extremely stable platform for the user. Transporting the rifle is made easy thanks to its folding stock. When the stock is locked into ready position it makes for a very comfortable shooting experience, especially due to the adjustable cheek rest and comfortable rubber butt pad. A dovetail scope mount has been included with the rifle and fits snugly on the rifle's integrated dovetail optic rail. An aggressive muzzle brake finishes off the look of the rifle making it just right. The steel 45rd magazine is removable allowing for easy reloading when needed, extra mags are available here at Evike.com.

" this is an amazing gun for its price, yes its heavy but that's half the reason why I bought it, to begin with.
pros-
sturdy
shoots smooth
bipod actually works
shoots roughly 392 out of box
the only cons I have are -
have to slam the mag in
but spike fell out and lost the metal piece that keeps it in.
" First things first, I love this gun. the pictures don't do it justice this thing is sexy and feels solid, it ways almost exactly the same as the real steal version by about half a pound. Performance wise this gun is great when it shoots, the key term in that sentence being WHEN it shoots. I don't know if it was just the magazine it came with but it had horrible feeding issues every 3 to 5 shots which was frustrating to say the least.
When the scope and hop-up were adjusted and a bb actually made into the chamber it would nail the target every time at 200 feet.
So, do i recommend this rifle? yes if you don't mind putting a bit of love into it. if you don't you better be ok with the idea of frantically taking out and reinserting your magazine till it actually loads properly in the middle of a game.
" I just got this rifle today and have not had a chance to fire it. I did order the spring which when I attempted to replace the internals, snapped off the top of where the spring is stored and directs the airflow (Part X04).
When I finally got the spring replaced after snapping off the part, I fired the gun and after about 15 times, the internal parts that control the spring snapped in half. When you buy this gun, I recommend replacing at a minimum the base of the spring system to a metal part (S10) and the spring itself which brings the FPS up to 500.
Pros:
High FPS once the spring is replaced
Realistic feel and look
Cons:
Magazines (Bought 4, 1 came with the gun. 3 of the 5 fit in the magazine well) - Expensive for extra mags.
Heavy - carrying this gun around on the field will get tired.
BB Feeder is made out of plastic; however its the only plastic parts aside from the stock.
Requires alan wrenches to disassemble but does not come with any.
Parts are hard to find on the Internet aside from the spring.
Overall, this is a good gun to buy, just beware of the flaws, like most guns.
