Pros:

Full steel, this is a converted real AKS74MN. I tracked mine to 1992.
heavy (if you're a wimp it's a con. If you like real guns like I do there's nothing like having weight behind it)
range (452mm barrel, you'll hit whatever you're aiming for)

Quick Change Spring system (I have the second generation, this doesn't apply to the first but it's definitely worth noting as a difference)
real AK parts compatibility (it was a real AK after all.)

Cons:

You CAN cut yourself against this rifle. AK designs are NOT known to be very friendly. They're a gun with a personality you see, the AK has a rugged and professional personality about it that can't be beaten. Unfortunately this rubs off with the ability for you to cut your hand against a number of sharp corners.

Limited battery space.


Before I get blasted for the 'limited battery space' complaint, let me inform you on one thing: I'm an AK fanatic. Almost every gun I've owned *real steel and airsoft* have been AK designs. I'm very knowledgeable on what the normal battery compartment size is and what it is in the E&L. Anyone familiar with airsoft's differences with real weapons knows that the dimensions are almost always a bit off. With the E&L *in this case it's bad* it is not the case. The E&L was built out of a real gun and therefor the dimensions are the same, so the dust cover will NOT snap in place if you have literally any normal 8.4/9.6 battery. Hell I couldn't even fit a small 11.1 in it. I improvised and bought the smallest LiPo battery I could find and duct taped it from being a nunchuck into being some sorta stick type thing (yea, weird right?). It works but I'm improvising. That's the point: With batteries you'll be improvising.

"Great Gun

Pros: Very high quality stamped steel. Gun feels and even smells like a real AK. No wobble in the folding stock. Comes with metal flash hider which was able to install out of the box, The orange tip just screws right off. Has a great weight and feel to it.

Cons: limited space for batteries. Front buffer tube is a cm off to fit normal 8.4 NiMh stick battery.

Overall: Amazing Gun!! Best AK for the price. I highly recommend it. I love it so much I am getting a second model.
