"This is an awesome gun. Unfortunately mags are not available in the States and are only available in China. There is a conversion kit online to turn a echo one gat drum mag to fit this gun haven’t tried it. Either way this gun is awesome if you can find extra mags. Which I did but was lucky

"I recommend anyone interested in a cheap AEG SMG to buy this gun. I have had it for about 9 months and I've had only good outcomes with it. Only downside is that attachments and magazines for this gun are hard to find and expensive due to it being uncommon. Shoots very accurate. Hop was basically spot on out of the box. All in all it's a great gun.

"Got this in February and have been using it ever since. I. Love. This. Gun. I have zero complaints about it (aside from the safety lever falling off, but whatever it shoots) and have a hell of a time using it every time I'm playing CQB. I can get around corners faster than everyone else using an M4 or literally any other gun and it shoots accurately enough that I have gotten some nice kills, not really a gun that you aim too much with though. I have attached a sling and use that to stabilize my aim by holding the Spectre as far away from my body as possible. This allows me to make precise shots while also being able to bring it back in close for coming around corners; think of it as a more efficient folding stock. I love this gun and am extremely happy I got it.

"I'm somewhat new to the airsoft scene and this is the third gun I've purchased. After using this gun for a couple of months I have very little complaints about the gun overall especially for the price it's available. I highly recommend it to anyone (including new players) that are looking for a inexpensive weapon for a indoor or CQC environment. The small size makes it easy to turn corners with, and it feels very comfortable to hold in your hands and has a nice weight without feeling cheap and flimsy. It even outperforms some of the more expensive models. Unlike some of the other reviews I have not had a problem with pins falling out of this weapon, but then again I'm very careful how I treat my Spectre. Be prepared for people to ask you what model your gun is. Everyday I have people asking me how it performs and asking to hold it. For outdoor play I'd only recommend this as a secondary weapon as the short barrel leaves much to be desired for accuracy over very long distances.
Pros:
Small compact design makes it amazing for indoor play and room clearing
Mine shoots ~310 FPS out of the box
Unique look
Inexpensive yet still of decent quality ($100)
Good battery life (I've played for 6-8 hours on a full charge with no issues)
BB's feed well
Cons:
Small magazine size of 40 (Buy spares)
RoF is mediocre
Poor range for an outdoor environment
This is my favorite gun I own and it's my go to weapon every time I play. I highly recommend it.

"This gun is a perfect secondary... I had a 8.4 but then I got tired of if and I wanted it to shoot quicker so I purchased a 7.4 Lipo and the thing shot perfectly! If you get this I recommend to get around 4-5 mags because the mags don't carry to much.
Pros-
Good weight
High rate of fire with Lipo
Pretty good fps considering it's an aeg
Great for cqb
Cons-
Sometimes if you load the mags with too much ammo there are feeding problems
No more it's a great gun

"Great Gun, ruined by ammo capacity. 40rd low caps only make this thing useless in cqb when everybody else is running a high cap or a drum. Plus side is the internals are basically v3 compatible, except for the cylinder head and tappet plate. You can grind an angle onto a m4 hop up unit to use a standard m4 hop-up unit to allow for flat hop. using that and a longer barrel with a suppressor I can group at about 170ft with low fps on a .28bb.

"This is an awesome gun that is great for short range combat and pairs well with a m4 or m16 style gun.

Decent fire rate
Metal frame
Easy to use for grip
Fun to shoot
Cons:
Small mags(Ammo amount)
Short range

"I've used this replica in a few matches so far, overall I'm happy with it. It shoots hard in a CQB environment, mine chronos about 320, and is really easy to get around corners quickly while being accurate. However, the physical size of the magazine compared to the mere 40 rounds it holds is annoying, there could be room for at least 50 more, and having to reload constantly does get annoying. I myself use 3 magazines and they usually last me through a 15 minute match but I play conservatively and do not shoot excessively. Also, today while I was playing, the safety switch broke and now it cannot be put into safe mode, luckily my finger is my most reliable safety. Overall, I recommend this gun for people looking for a CQB weapon that will not only stand out amongst the crowd (practically everyone asks me what it is and they all want to hold it) but also compete against weapons that are far more expensive. My only gripe is the safety but it is not the worst thing in the world so I will gladly deal with it. 4*

"I've owned my RPD for around 4 months and use it about once a week for cqb and I'm impressed with it and I think it's a pretty good bang for your buck if you're in the market for a unique smg.
Some notes about the gun:
Mags mis feed if yoy load them too much, as soon as you feel tension on the speed loader stop.
Mags are solid, but the base plate on them are fragile. I dropped one and it broke, don't drop them.
Mags only hold 40rds, buy 5-6 spares, wish they made high caps so I could have one as a back up.
The square plate on the back of the gun is held down by the rear sight only, I lost mine. I'd velcro or tape it down.
Small battery space, included 8.4v is a tight fit. Buy a 7.4v lipo for best results, most 11 1v batteries will not fit.
My Rof is pretty good, I never go full auto though aprx. 14rps on the 7.4v. Trigger response is good.
Fps is good. Mines aprx. 295fps w/ .2 & 270 w/ .25s. Perfect for cqb. People feel it.
Disassembly is a pain in the butt. The fire sector switch doesn't stay in full auto when you're firing, you must hold it down.
Echo 1 sells a metal outer barrel with threads, I put a noveske on mine and it's loud and scary.
Very sturdy construction and the plastic body feels solid. Just tighten all the screws and maybe lock tight the body pins.
I really like my rdp, solid gun for a solid price. It's light weight and very small. I'm able to take corners and wield it very well.
I know my review was kinda hard on the gun, but it's really great and I don't see myself getting rid of it any time soon. 4/5

"Cool gun
Pros
Light
Balanced
RoF
Cons
Stock falls off (or at least mine did)
40rnd mid cap only.
Pretty much a good gun but unusable in the field, because of the lack of higher cap mags

"The RDP is a faithful recreation of the SITES Spectre M4, to a certain degree. It's an awesome unicorn weapon, but falls short where it really counts.
Pros:
External build quality is really good.
It's a Spectre and not just another P90 or MP5.
Internal quality is on par with other SMG replicas in this range.
Fieldable right out of the box, sorta.
Fully V3 parts compatible.
Cons:
Battery included and even a 7.4 LiPo will not fit in the battery compartment without some serious mods or loads of tape (like what I had to do!)
Magazines are limited to 40 rounds and no mid-caps or hi-caps are available for it. You'll run dry faster than other players with similar priced AEGs.
No option to add a stock unless you modify one.
Magazines are a bit too easy to release by mistake.
Hop-up is relatively difficult to adjust, especially for gloved users.
Selectors and safety are pretty confusing to those not knowledgeable of the Spectre.
Selectors are really hard to move out of the box.
Ergonomics of the grips feel uncomfortable.
All in all, the RDP is a unique replica and has lots of potential to be a wonderful CQb weapon or sniper's sidearm, but it was plagued with cutbacks and cut corners in development. If you can catch on sale or used, you'll be happy, but for full price, you should look elsewhere.

"Got mine for $100 around Christmas. Overall i love it for CQB but i'm selling it soon due to it being echo1 and overall cheaply built.
pros:
-great hop up and decent internals overall (mad bull internals)
-shoots roughly 150feet on a clear day with .20's
Cons:
-slow ROF
-Pins fall out
-Battery space is too small
-only 40rd mag cap
Overall its a great sidearm or primary if you're like me and have 6 mags for it.

"the gun is great, the mags not so much they only hold 40 rds and you apparently cannot buy any extras, everyone is out of stock and has been for months. In my opinion buy the Echo1 Gat at least you can get mags for it

"Ran really well for about one hour, then rapidly degraded. First a pin fell out, but thankfully I replaced it after hearing it fall on the floor. A short time later it would only fire full-auto, regardless of selection. Finally it would run-away (look it up) with a single press of the trigger.
While it was functioning it was very effective for QCB. I'm very disappointed, as the workmanship and build quality were quite nice (which is the only reason it gets two stars).
