"Right out of the box sadly my gun wasn't functioning, so I totally ignored the warranty warning and tore it open! No, i did not plan on returning it ever because you can fix anything if you try. i fixed the issue because i wasn't worried what it was because i bought alot of upgrades for this anyway. I fixed the horrible feeding issue (broken feed plate, magazine couldn't sit right) and the noticeably low pressure from the piston tube. Using some silicon oil. I shot maybe 500 bbs and it was smooth and actually a very nice gun, but i ended up replacing all the internals anyway. It was a nice solid AEG I'd use if I was just looking to keep it original, if it came functioning. After quite a lot of internal work, well its GREAT and it looks awesome in the typhoon camo. Definitely a good platform to start a DMR from (other than the dual stage trigger, which a mosfet fixed) if you get the carbine model. luckily the body of the gun is nice, i like the scope even though its not really adjustable, its got good weight and a long barrel. All that to me made it worth the few defects because i know how to breakdown an AEG and maintain it. If you aren't good with fixing your gun i wouldn't suggest this one just because of my experience, but yours may vary. I give this gun an 8 out of 10 stock. Upgraded to be a DMR 10 out of 10!

"I bought one of these off the boneyard, Ill start off saying that performance wise they are spectacular and they look gorgeous. The bad is the dirty whore of a scope on them. idk how to scope it in

"When I first saw this Aug, I immediately fell in love with it. The skin, the scope, the magazine in the back and the overall look of it. I thought I had to have it and decided to buy it. When I first got it, I was a little disappointed. The front grip was broken in shipping and everything felt like it was loose. I did some research and found out I was the only one with this problem. I contacted Evike and they told me to submit an R.M.A. form and to return my product back to the factory. After a few days, I got the R.M.A. reply and a shipping label to go with it. I put the Aug back in a box and shipped it back to Evike. I was worried while it was there like "what if nothing is wrong with it and I sent it for no reason"? or "What if I have to pay for them to ship it back"? However a couple weeks later I got an email saying "An order for a new Aug APS has been placed for you" and tracking information was included. I was extremely happy and could not believe Evike did that. About a week later I got the new Aug in the mail, unboxed it, and I could not be more happy with it. Everything was snug, the test bbs they sent me shot perfectly, the magazine rolled well, the scope was nice, and the fron grip was in one piece. Thank you Evike for the replacement airsoft rifle and I will definitely be using it on the field.

"The Aug shoots very well and accurate, it's got a good feel and the verticle grip is acceptable. I would definitely recommend this gun do to it's price and it's preformance, I got the urban serpent one and the gun is very sturdy. there is some rattle in the stock but nothing that would affect preformance in any way, you only hear it if you really shake the gun. I would suggest getting a sling mount and putting it on one of the rails if you have a 1 point sling, with out the sling mount it sits really low on the stock ones. Battery compartment is tiny so get a really small battery. Or the base plate that separates the battery from the gearbox can be cut in half (does not hurt preformance) then you can fit a bigger battery like a butterfly type. 1 last thing is that the scope is difficult to ajust the hight, it almost seems like mine won't ajust hight at all. Over all I would definitely recommend this gun to someone interested in a bullpup design

"amazing gun
pros:
all the parts easily swap out.
very easy battery spot
any brand of clip seems 2 work
full gear box pops out easy
cons:
m90 spring shoots @ 350-355 fps
no drum mag!!!
7mm "easy spring" set screw (hardware stores seem to only sell 6,8)
the paint wears off where ever you rub against it (WHITE plastic)
hop up is cheap plastic (needs metal upgrade)
the scope tube site screws have trouble adjusting (very cheap plastic insides)
over all i love the gun

"I've had this gun for about a month or so now, and there haven't been any major problems. I accidentally bought a 9.6v Nun chuck type battery for it, it fits, but I have to cram it in every time. If I have the Battery out, the Gearbox will tend to slide around, but no biggy. Mine shoots around 390-410 with .20's. I would recommend this gun, but not for the outrageous price of $230. Mine was sale for $150. Hope this review helps!
