"I am so happy I purchased this gun, It works so well. Firing rate is a stream of bb's, pretty solid fps (you know if you get hit), and just looks sick. I recommend this gun to anyone who is looking for a nice LMG.

Pros:
-Great rate of fire/fps
-Looks amazing
-Clip holds pretty good amount of ammo

Cons:
-Pretty Heavy
-Wood on the stock is kinda cheap

Other then that this gun has been great and I don't really have any complaints!

"I've been wanting to write a well thought out review for a while but because its on sale so cheap right now I just want to get to the basics.

pros

With .32 bbs this thing is a constant laser stream of bb's that are very accurate at a long distance, you have to see it to believe it!

The feel of this gun is amazing, extremely sturdy, but is heavy so if you're small it will be hard for you to wield.

You can definitely run around with this gun at your side and holding the wooden handle, the bipod, or the under barrel. The Barrel is long tho so its not a cqb gun, duh.

Cons

The lever for taking the barrel off is in a awful spot, and its a must to zip tie it down. I just bought a black zip tie and its been there for forever and haven't had a reason to take it off.

The other big con is that it needs a key, to wind the mag. So instead of those high cap mags that have a wheel built in, you need your own hex key (it comes with one of course) to turn it, then you have to put the key in your pocket or something. Im working on 3D printing my own wheel to glue to it, so I don't lose the key again( yes I lost it so be careful with it).

This was just a short list of things but all in all if you need I high power fast shooting solid support weapon that looks Bad!@$ This is the gun to buy ! It turns heads like a Farrari

"A mean beast squad automatic weapon!

Love the look and it served me well!

Externally, the gun has nice detail, weight and feel to it.
I run a 9.6V 5000mah battery on it and it shoots great and accurate. Buy it if you are looking for a weapon to intimidate and to provide cover fire!

"What an amazing LMG

Pros:
Long barrel - very accurate
Rate of fire is fantastic out of the box
Good FPS out of the box with .25g bb's
VERY satisfying noises when you change mags
Imitation wood is the best imitation wood Ive seen in a LONG time
Very solid feel, most of the gun is metal with exception to imitation wood and a couple of internal parts such as hopup.
Takes a 11.1 volt LiPO right out of the box, and has a sizable space for a battery. (I personally use the E-Flite 3200mah 11.1v 3s LiPO, which is probably the biggest battery you could fit in here that's sold right off the shelf)
Top mounted mag allows for 'on the fly reloading' and occasionally shots that would have hit your head hit the mag and save your life (if the field does not count gun hits!)

Cons:
mags only hold 500rds and you have to use an hex wrench or the included tool to wind them - there is no thumb-winder.
Bipod does not lock; i guess folding is true, but its gonna flop all over the place while you're using it... personally i just took it off and play without it.
People constantly mistake it for a Bren.

General notes:
I honestly like this gun. I received it in a BOA so i had no idea what i had, but it was not disappointing. Solid performance and reliability, and the mags are only $25 ea. so the low cap. isn't really an issue. battery connector is a mini-tamiya. Adjustable sight is nice, and with .25 ammo the range and accuracy is on par with some mid-range snipers. Weighs about 16lbs when fully loaded. Would definitely take a sidearm with you, because that long barrel is awkward in tight spaces. Watch out for barrel release lever, not a good thing if your barrel randomly slides off - again, not usually a problem.

"This is amazingly realistic copy of the ZB, and very nicely made. It's very long, full metal and wood and something very different from the ubiquitous M4's on the Airsoft sites. Not the most practical gun in the world, But I prefer unique over practical just to see what it was like to use these things in the real world.

The bipod is a bit odd as it doesn't "clip" back or forward and just flops about. Originally I thought this was just rubbish, but taking a look at the real thing, it's exactly the same. It does set up in prone position nicely though, just a pain when you're moving around with it.

The only let down for me is the carry handle as that doesn't clip in position when it really should. The original cliped virtically to be used when firing from the hip, then clipped horizontally for carrying. This just flops about. Not a big deal, just a missed opportunity.

Apart from these minor grips, this is a stunning replica and works well on the field. I didn't have any problems with the stock end like the other reviewer. Mine clips on quite nicely and doesn't slip off. All in all a great WWII reenacter gun, very realistic looks, feel and weight.

"Pros-
Very unique looking gun
Folding bipod
Large positionable carry handle
All metal construction
OK battery space
Easy to remove outer and inner barrel
Side mounted iron sights
Mock charging handle
Seems to be lipo ready
Giant mag capacity
Adjustable rear sight
Cons-
Faux wood
Expensive magazines(you NEED a butterfly key to wind the mag, there is no winding wheel)
Charging handle doesn't pull back completely, mine sometimes gets loose and requires me to screw it back on
Weird hop up location deep in the gun
Awkward to shoulder due to side mounted iron sights
There's nothing keeping the bipod from just hanging while ur holding it
GIGANTIC orange tip(the screw in the side of the tip actually screwed off without a problem, its just caked with glue
Overall-a very unique gun perfect for milsim or any machine gunner that will surely turn heads

"I just got this gun today and i was very happy. The gun is pretty heavy when holding it up standing. I can see it being used more for stationary use. the stock was a little wobbly, and the screws were missing ion the top where the battery compartment latches on but it still works. It is extremely accurate out of the box with .25s.

Pros:
Very realistic
Easy to use
Accurate
Decent rate of fire

Cons:
Not in Great condition when received
Too heavy to be moving around
The barrel handle sometimes can be cumbersome
Hard to look down sights with a mesh mask

Overall, I'd say only get the gun if your then type of player that is stationary. It is an excellent gun for the price and would defiantly recomend this for someone who wants to stand out on the field.

"Only had this gun for a few hours, and already I have alot to say about it.
First, its heavy. Very heavy. But in a good way. It's big, it feels pretty awesome to handle. Fires hard and fast with .2s, nothing to complain about there. Pretty much everything is metal, and whats not metal is wood that gives the gun a unique look.

Theres complaints about it too. After taking the gun out of the box and handling it for all of 15 minutes the real wood stock is cracked. I used some electrical tape to keep things from escalating and it gave the gun a mean look as well. The carry handle doesn't lock at all, which may be something that the real ZB26 did or did not do, I don't know for myself. And the magazine uses a hex key to wind. It includes a key with the magazine, and while i kind of understand this feature for preserving the look of the gun, as well as the fact that the gun feeds from the top rather than the bottom, I still feel like its worth mentioning that you will have to carry around a key to wind your magazines.

I bought my Matrix ZB-26 with Real wood stock on sale, cheaper than the imitation wood one. If you are going to buy this gun where the imitation wood is cheaper than the real wood, I would probably grab the imitation wood. Unless mine is a lemon, which judging by the build quality i am pretty sure it is not, the real wood will crack within a short frame of use.

All in all not a bad gun. Just some flaws with it that kept it from being the greatest thing since canned bread.

"For the most part, everything on this gun is excellent the only downsides are as follows:
- The wood used to make it is cheap, and may come cracked or even broken
- The piece of the stock used as the hood to the battery compartment is really poorly held on, and can fall off during use (recommend some basic jury-rigging to fix this)
- This is the ultimate deal breaker: the magazines need to be wound with a separate hex-key; meaning you need an extra piece to ensure this gun loads properly. Out of all these, this is definitely the most annoying one; although to be fair you will only really need to wind it up a maximum of 2 times after initial winding (which is really good for a 500 round hi-cap mag)
- The bipod does not clip into place, and can be bothersome when running with the gun (though given this is an MG you will mostly be crouching in place with the gun resting on the bipod anyway, so it really doesn't matter)
- Heavy (obviously)
Even with that said, I would definitely recommend this gun (especially if it is on sale, like mine was), it has an amazing ROF and a respectable FPS, is made out of a solid metal and does not wear very easily (aside from the cheap wood), and is all around a great gun guaranteed to turn some heads.

"I got this in the BOA last November, and while it's been a while, it's been through enough testing to gain my approval. The proprietary gearbox is no big deal as its cnc machined aluminum. This gearbox also includes 8mm ball bearings, so it has a great fire rate out of the box with only a 7.4! The hop up is metal as well. If you ever want to upgrade the plastic nozzle to a metal one with an O ring, I have found that a fal/sig nozzle fits perfectly. A new trigger switch is just a modified version 2, and I recreated it using a hacksaw and sandpaper. After the standard lipo upgrades (steel teeth piston, MOSFET, bearing spring guide and piston head, shimming) this thing is a beast that people are afraid of.

This gun is beautiful externally as well, and comes with realistic features such as a quick detach barrel and a non-locking bipod. The body is made of aluminum, but it is very durable.

Pros:
Cnc aluminum gearbox
Great fire rate
Easy to upgrade

Cons:
Proprietary mags
Price tag, but I got it a lot cheaper in BOA

Overall I highly recommend this gun, but don't buy it for $300. It's a great gun, but requires too many upgrades to reach its full potential to cost more than $200, maybe $210. If you find a BOA that includes this though, don't let this gun stop you from getting the box! I was hoping for a m249, but I'm perfectly happy with this. I get a lot of compliments about my "rare" gun as well.

"This is one of the more unique airsoft guns that you can buy, and I would definitely say that this is a major form over function airsoft gun. Don't get me wrong, this is a great airsoft gun that is heavy because of the full metal and real wood, and it will definitely turn heads at the field, but the performance leaves a little to be desired. The externals of the gun are flawless. The real wood is beautiful, the metal is thick and solid and has a solid paint on it, the many moving parts (mag well cover, quick change outer barrel, etc.) are for the post part extremely solid. Performance wise, the 600 round magazine gives you a lot of ammo to work with, and the long 675mm inner barrel gives you plenty of accuracy at range. The hop up is also excellent. It does come with a stock 6.08 barrel though, so I would recommend buying a tight bore when you purchase it. My two biggest gripes about this airsoft gun are the motor, which is slow, and the butt plate to the stock, which isn't really attached to anything, it kind of just rests on the stock, so I had to create a velcro strap system to keep the but plate on. For anybody looking for a WW2 airsoft gun, this is the gun to get. I've owned thompsons, a sten, an stg44, and an m1918 BAR, and the vz 26 is definitely the most sturdy and functional out of the box out of all of the WW2 airsoft guns available. I would highly recommend the Matrix VZ26.

"First off, I love this gun, but I'm a lot more tolerant of flaws than some. I have the slightly different "special edition" version with the chrome gas tube, but I'm more than positive that's the only difference from this one.

Starting off from the pros(of course):
Its nice that rare guns like these show up on the airsoft market every now and then, so if you just like collecting guns this is definitely one to grab. FPS is field worthy, mine shoots around 350. Hopup works decently as well with .25s, not as good with .2s. It's worked nicely as a support weapon for me, bipod set up and all it just works really well. A 9.6 nunchuck fits in its stock perfectly. As a support gun it serves its purpose, however it does have its flaws.

Cons:
The guns looks great, don't get me wrong its a very nice replica, but looks and quality are two different things. Starting with the real wood: it's just bad cheap wood that looks good, but isn't good. The metal on the gun is heavy, the wood is not. My stock had a slight crack in it when I received the gun, it was also loose. When tightening the stock back on the wood right near the body of the gun began to crack, so I stopped tightening it. There is a sling mount attached to the wooden stock, but I'm very afraid to put any weight on it so I have refrained from slinging it. The metal body itself feels sturdy, although the barrel assembly wobbles a bit and I have yet to find out how to tighten it. Other than a little low quality, the biggest complaint I have with this gun is the Magazine. It's necessary to carry a high cap winding tool at all times when running this gun as it has no winding wheel, which can really suck when you're using a support gun that relies on sustained fire. The reason they didn't go cheap and efficient with a gravity fed magazine is beyond me. Oh and of course with any support gun you're going to have to look at how heavy it is, as for me it's not problem since I have a support gunner's build, but for smaller people it could be an issue.

Let's review:
Pros-
Good support weapon
Field worthy FPS and hopup
Nice replica of VZ26

Cons-
Less than average quality
Magazine has no winding wheel
Winding tool necessary

May seem like a small review, but really it's not a bad gun. I just has it's usual Matrix/Chinese manufacturer problems. I'm not sure how much better the Echo 1 version is, but I'd recommend spending a bit more for the Echo 1 seeing how much they can improve lower quality guns.

"I purchased this gun for historical reenactment purposes and it does a great job of looking real. But my gripes for this gun are as follows. The manual is no help at all, it literally just points out the obvious parts of the weapon and shows how to slide the hop up. This weapon has a changeable barrel feature, which I would not recommend using. There is no real reason to change the barrel and it is very hard to line it back up and lock it in place. There is no instruction on how to help speed the barrel changing process.Lastly is the but plate that hides the battery. The butt plate is held on by a small clip and it falls off easily when the battery is being housed in the stock. All in all this gun is perfect for a prob for historical reenacting, but isn't the greatest in the field.
