Double Bell AKS74N Airsoft AEG Rifle (Model: Polymer Furniture)

"10 out of 10 highly recommend for first ak. Only "con" is that its a little to heavy for ME though i am not strong. This gun works selector is a little stiff than normal but is fixable. DOES NOT USE CYMA MAGS THEY DO NOT FIT GET ARCTURUS MAGS.

"Bought one of these as my first airsoft gun in early 2023. Came with a decent quality metal receiver, passed the magnet test, and a very nice wood foregrip. The Forward sight block is a little bent to one side on mine, making the iron sights useless, but you get what you pay for (and so far, the gun is excellent for the price).

The folding stock is really helpful but only for CQB, you will not be getting any good range or accuracy without the stock. Otherwise, with the stock, the gun shoots wonderfully and with a really high FPS.

Important note: DO NOT USE AN 11.1V BATTERY UNLESS YOU WANT TO DESTROY THE GEARS

For a battery, I would recommend a 7.4V small Tamiya, which I use.

Overall, decent quality, at a GREAT price! These are excellent beginner rifles.

"(Type B $94) Decent beginner rifle with solid construction, doesn’t feel flimsy or like it’s going to fall apart in your hands. The polymer parts are good. only plastic bits are the dust cover, magazine and hand guard. Feels good in the hands and shoots well. Only criticism I really have is the charging handle definitely feels cheap to use, no satisfying pull back noise. Looks really good however and definitely worth the buy if you want to use it for cosplay or don’t want to spend a fortune.

"Decent gun, internals are not as good as the CYMA CM.04 steel body series and even though many parts of the gun (including the receiver) is made out of steel, it is slightly inferior to that of a steel CYMA.

It could use a better motor, hopup and bucking.

It comes with a quick change spring, but requires the gearbox to be taken out of the receiver.

It is not compatible with CYMA magazines. The magazine well is similar to that of an Arcturus AK


Peronally, I wouldn't buy these over a CYMA, especially at the price Evike is selling them. However, they are still pretty good out of the box.

"Has good weight to it feels pretty good quality but very disappointed the rear sight came snapped in half right out of the box also S&T armement mags do not fit the mag well.

"Alright, so this is a critical review:

-Pinned-in-place orange plastic muzzle brake that has the inner barrel extend to the tip of the muzzle brake
-Does NOT accept common magazines, but DOES fit top-of-the-line, expensive Arctarus magazines, as well as hard-to-find Double Bell brand magazines
-Very difficult to insert battery
-Front Sight Post is wobbly out of the factory
-Rear leaf sight is wobbly out of the factory

Just feels very cheap overall. Just buy an E&L or other high-end AK.
