"This is a great gun I have had it for three years, fielded it, and it works really really well I just have a few questions. How do I disassemble the gun to clean it and how do I get the front barrel piece off so I can put a suppressor in it?

"AAA gun.
Tanks are built as hard as this gun.
Your grand children will have this gun still working on stock parts (even the bucking).
It feeds everything.
Its more reliable than the gun You have.

"OKAY. SO I have used the ak74 made by CYMA and MATRIX (the imitation wood version) and the Ak74m full metal real wood long version. They’re all good but I didn’t like the long ak74 so I chose the imitation wood one and then sold it and got this one….
The gearbox internals and hop up in this certain design is not like the other ones. This feels somewhat real and it shot better than the long ak74 and the matrix CymA variant. This gun looks beautiful with my current attachments or by itself. I didn’t like CymA aks until I tried this very exact one and it changed my opinion about CymA aks forever. I was also considering ARCTURUS to purchase their CQB model for $372 but this was 174 on sale during Labor Day so I grabbed this. I already have a different Arcturus Ak so compared the two and they are both very solid.
One stamped steel and the other stamped metal. Arcturus has great quality standards as well as other cool features and options to choose from but CymA holds the old fashion and great quality as well. Between qualities of both CYMA and ARCTURUS; Arcturus has more to choose from as well as spring release and quick spring change but you pay an extra 200$ at least whereas CymA is almost as good for 200$ less and you can get great qualities out of it. Consider both AKs before hitting that ADD TO CART button.

"I fielded this gun today and it ran very well. I ended up running it over with an ATV and it still held up great. The metal build is definitely sturdier and more durable.

"AMAZING Gun i paired this with a 11.1V battery and it worked flawlessly had this thing for a bit now and zero problems, the stamped metal is definitely more durable and imo better feeling, if you had to pick between this or the 35, i would go this one, anyways if you are having a tough time pulling the trigger on getting this DO IT You will not regret it

"has this for about 3 months now and all i can say is that its amazing.
pros
-sturdy build
-good weight
-shoots straight and accurate
-nothing wobbles
cons
-the spring for the bolt sometimes pops out when the dust cover comes off but its an easy fix and not that big of a con, probably the only con i can find.

"I got this AK because I wanted something small for cqb and let me tell you this gun is short, with the stock folded I can fit it in a back pack, my only grip with it is when the stock is extended the sling mount is on the outside of the gun and the sling point at the barrel end is on the inside but they are meant to be carried in the folded position not that big of a deal really just me being picky. Out of the box I wired it to deans and used an 11.1 volt lipo to test it stock. Fps with .20gram elite force bbs it is shooting 420 to 425 fps and I used it with .28 gram elite force bbs field and it still got some really good range, if you are going to use it indoors or at a cqb field you may need to change the spring in there to maybe an m110 or so. I have not checked the gearbox internally but it sounds really good and solid. Hop up chamber is metal and works well stock, I flat hopped it using a G&G green and a ZCi 6.02 tbb 247mm to remove the original flash hider as I do not like the look of this flash hider, 247mm sights flush to the end of the outer barrel it’s perfect and shortens the gun even further. The gun does not teardown like a conventional AEG AK but more like a GBB or real steel as the receiver is riveted and not screwed together, to remove the hop up chamber you have to remove the gearbox first but before you can do that there is plastic block in front of the hop up chamber lift it push the hop up chamber toward the outer barrel remove the grip and the selector and then you can remove the gearbox. To remove the hop up chamber you need to remove the outer barrel by removing the top part of the handguard and pulling the lever behind the front sight post toward the back of the gun to release the lower handguard then there are 2 pins, a big one and a smaller one, on the trunnion where the battery cover is connected pop those out and move the entire trunnion out of the way to reveal a set screw on top of the outer barrel loosen it and pull the outer barrel and assembly out together then push the barrel and hop up chamber to the rear of the gun while pushing slightly left to clear the taps inside the receiver. The flash hider which is a 2 piece is also glued in place some pliers and a heat gun will take care of that also there is a pin you need to punch out first on the right side of the sight post just enough to clear the flash hider the second piece has a set screw to the outer barrel not glued in place. Overall great little gun slightly light weight but not enough to make it feel cheap, it is sturdy and a great shooter.

"Bought this as a 'first gun' but starting to realize its better than most of the other guns out there. Bought this with a 9.6v battery which i would consider necessary for the gun. the battery in the package deal just isn't powerful enough and gives the gun a very slow wind-up time between pulling the trigger and actually firing. other than that it is very accurate out of the box and I've yet to have it jam or act up.
spent about 50 bucks on a new barrel and hop-up and it out-shoots guns twice its price.
I Recommend sportpro waffle midcaps, they fit the best out of everything else i've tried. the matrix mid-caps shown in the 'customers also bought' list fit much too tightly and literally require you to hit them in.
I know every gun on this site gets a 5 star review but I do mean it when I give it a 5. this is the perfect gun for someone new to the hobby that doesn't want to blow a bunch of money but also doesn't want to handicap themselves with a junker.

"Sweet gun. Use a 3point sling on it and it's convenient to run around with the stock folded. It's pretty heavy, but I don't mind that, lots of metal parts :) The furniture is comfortable and the plum has a nice subtlety to it. First time I used it, the hop up was out of whack but that was easy to fix. With the short barrel, you get what you could expect. I run a 11.1v lip with mine, stick type, and it's a beast, but I bought the GP metal mags midcap and I don't think they feed fast enough for the firing rate (~14rps). However, the mag it comes with feeds superb, but is a bit wobbly. Don't fall prone onto it and it should be fine. Speaking of the battery area, it's quite large, but there's a circle opening between the main body (underneath the top of the gun) and the top plum futniture. This wasn't wide enough for the lipo stick battery. All I had to do was use a file to open it up. Took like 10 minutes. I'll be buying a rail and scope for it next.
It's pretty accurate, considering, and has decent range. It's no DMR.

"This is a great deal, just throwing that out there. The accuracy isn't too great past 80 feet or so, but the externals are great. I believe it has an M130 spring stock, so if you plan on playing CQB with it you're going to need to change it. Ran it for a couple months on an 11.1v and have had no problems whatsoever. If you put a little time and money into upgrading things like the bucking and barrel and downgrading the spring, you should be golden, and that is exactly what is going to happen to mine.

"Solid build quality and overall great AEG AK to buy if you’re wanting to explore AK style AEGs! Gearbox is the standard CYMA gearbox and can be easy to upgrade! Definitely shim the gears if you’re looking for great performance due to the gears being shimmed kind of poorly. Definitely replacing the trigger will with with the feel and easier pull back to activate the trolly style trigger control! This AEG was shooting 340fps with .2g bbs and after _100 bbs. Somehow jumped fps and was shooting 358 fairly consistently. After dropping an m85 spring in. This gun shoots 333 CONSISTENTLY. Also this gun comes with lots of parts being superglued and if you’re wishing to change the muzzle. Pick up rubbing alcohol and a pair of pliers due to the amount the manufacturers use! Also the neodymium motor in the package is okay. It’s not anything like a lone. Or rocket, but it gets the job done. It definitely sputters when shooting fast with a 7.4v deans Lopo. However buying a better high torque motor makes a big different! Overall great gun out of the box and open for upgrading for indoor/outdoor play!

"this gun shoots very well, the metal is sturdy, and the plastic feels like it isnt cheap. its very accurate and shoots straight for a WHILE, but on the first day i had it a cosmetic issue slightly ruined the gun for me. i was trying to put the handguard back on after removing it, and it was WAY too hard to push the locking latch down, so i took a pair of pliers, and the latch just broke right off with no force, and i haven't been able to fix it in any way.

"Hands down a great gun for a great price. This is an actual step up from CYMA's AK's before (which were already pretty nice) and now feature stamped steel and almost amazing externals. The externals as said in the description consist of actual stamped steel, which is amazing quality for the price. It breaks down like a real AK (Such as the E&L) with no screws anywhere except the gearbox and hop up, and is pretty solid. There is a bit of play in the stock, but it isn't much of a big deal, and is easily ignored in my opinion. I don't have much experience on the internals, but they seem to be decent/nice quality, standard CYMA stuff. One problem I did face though is when i got it, it fired the first 100-200 rounds perfectly fine, but then suddenly jammed up. I cleared the jam and cleaned the barrel, but when i fired the gun it was still jamming. I opened up the gun and found out that the thick grease from the gearbox actually got in the cylinder of the gun and into the piston, which started pushing gunk out of the nozzle. After clearing the grease out of the nozzle with a q tip and a paper towel, it started shooting fine. I still havent shot it too much as i havent had a chance to field it yet, but it seemed to clear the problem.
Overall, a very nice AK with above great externals at an amazing price for it, but be prepared to clean up the insides a bit. (Isn't too much of a big deal, just time consuming)
