I MADE AN ERROR IN MY INITIAL REVIEW OF THIS PRODUCT.

The outer diameter is 1.475".

"I am so far happy with this. The finish looks great. It seems to be well made. Not too heavy. THE OUTER DIAMETER IS 1.75". This measurement was something I wanted to know before purchasing, but couldn't find any where. Maybe this will help someone who is looking.

"I've had one of these for quite a while but never really used it until I entered the HPA game. I'll get into that in a bit.

It's a light, sturdy piece with removable end caps. Since I bought mine second hand, it didn't come with the 14mm+ end cap. It threads on tight to the outer barrel with no wobble. The inside has two silver discs. Between the the discs and the respective end caps is ~1/2 inch of space. If you notice when you remove the end caps, the internal threads run deep. If you have time to kill, you can remove the two discs by spinning them; now you have a completely hollow can to do things. These said discs can also be threaded back in. Make sure to clean the inside of the suppressor because the disc removal leaves metal dust and bits. Do note that the discs can interfere with the BBs leaving the inner barrel if your hop up isn't set correctly.

Now for my purposes, I left the rear disc in place but widened the center hole. I also repurposed a spare Valken Kilo tracer unit with the 14mm adapter attached. The inside diameter of the can is 30mm while the tracer outer diameter is 28mm. I wrapped enough electrical tape around the Kilo to make it snug inside but still removable with a long flathead screwdriver. It sits with the adapter end against the rear disc, perfectly aligned with the hole. The end result: a bubba tracer unit, with a functional expansion area, that actually works. The front end cap acts as a "flash kill" to the tracer. The 1/2 inch of space expands the air before it leaves through the tracer and out the front. This is primarily for HPA, not so much for gbb and aegs. There's other ways to deaden the sound but you can google that yourself. If the target is out a good distance, they may not hear you but they might be able to trace the bb if you miss.
