"Just got this receiver to put on my custom work and it fit perfect !with super minimal modification(just for the mag release thing to fit) , all pin holes line up perfectly
You also can modify to use bolt catch system like VFC and such too ! Great metal body for the price you pay ! Highly recommend!!
"I bought this body to go with my madbull DD ris II, madbull outer barrel, g&p gearbox, and a g&p magpul UBR stock.
First look, it feels amazing. The finish is not matte, but not shiny either. Just the right amount of both, giving it a kinda blued silky finish.
Now, installing I ran into some problems. Who doesn't.
The gearbox kinda goes in a wonky angle, and I had to drill out the stock screw hole to make it bigger, so it would allign with the gearbox. Also, the gun won't shoot on full auto anymore, the trigger locks like it's on safe. It doesn't bother me, but it's probably something in the gearbox like a wire in the trigger's way or something. I'll check it out next time I service my gun.
The daniel defense barrel nut sits a little too fowards when it's fully tightened, so the delta ring is a bit loose. Fear not, for when you tighten up the rail's screws, they tightly sandwich the barrel nut, and the rail has zero wobble, which pleases me greatly.
Removing the stock trigger guard was kind of a pain, but the new krytac one sits nicely.
Now, the main issue. It's made to hold we tech gearboxes, which have the mag release loop slighly to the right, not centered. If you're using the nice looking r5c mag release, just remove the loop on the gearbox and you're golden. I suppose it accepts regular mag releases, but I haven't tried it yet. I used that mag release, and it holds my PTS M Pmags and EPM's just right, minimal wobble, and they fall out when you press the button, unlike chinese bodies where you gotta pull these mags out, they don't fall free.
So overall, I really like it. It has some comptibility issues, but I can't complain.
