"Gate makes the best MOSFETs hands down. This thing is awesome and works great in my cyma M16A4. The installation is not hard at all especially with fluent instructions found on their website. Trigger response is a great improvement over a standard wiring layout. This model comes with a programming button and they tell you how to set battery protection and active brake in the instructions. Would totally recommend this for anyone looking to get into MOSFETs.

"This mosfet is great! It's easy to program (lots of instructional videos) and I've had no problems yet. And all the features of this mosfet are fantastic! This will not fit into a v2 gearbox (just in case anyone thinks it will) but it fits into a buffer tube with no issues. The only issue I've had is not GATE's fault, but mine (I tried to use a matrix 2000 mah 3 cell crane stock battery that has to fit into all three openings on a crane stock. The battery and the mosfet barely fit in, but again that's not GATE's fault). It's been doing great and I'll update if anything happens! It should be noted that I'm a different David P. than the other David P. (I have no idea how that happened), unless I somehow totally forgot I left a review already.

"This is a great mosfet. Easy to install and fits in a buffer tube no problem. Lipo protection features are great too. You cant go wrong with this unit.

"Works fine as a MOSFET, however the programmable features do not work well. The active braking does absolutely nothing. Considering the pain involved in installation, I would not recommend this MOSFET.

"Got this mosfet and installed it perfectly like every other mosfet I installed it heated up really bad and made my gun shoot full auto only even though I had it on simi auto.

"I'm not sure if I got a bunk mosfet but it did not work. If you plug the button switch it it works fine but using the trigger does not work. Also after I installed the mosfet I lost my semi auto my gun just fired in full auto witch is weird because this mosfet does not have any burst options it just has a break system. I will not buy gate products any more I'll go with a different brand.
