"I've had this gun for about 3 months now and its great would recommend for new players very good for the price but only one thing i do not like about it is you have to unscrew lots of stuff to put batteries in and .20 bbs are to light.. i would say use .25

"For under 200 dollars this gun is a really good deal. Full metal upper and lower receivers gives the gun a good weight and feeling and the gearbox is rock solid right out of the box. Run it with an 11.1 lipo and a mosfet and you will not want to put it down for a long time. I dropped in a Lonex hop up unit with a G&G green bucking, cleaned up and re-shimmed the gearbox, and put in a new trigger and it performs like a high-end rifle.

"Well to start this review I have to say, I do not recommend the product. For anyone who still tries to buy it, know that Evike has the wrong barrel size, it’s 229 mm not 363. I emailed them multiple times and even got responses, yet it’s has not been changed. After a day of owning the gun the Tamiya connector had a wire pop of when trying to fit a battery in. The wires are very cheap. After soldering a new Tamiya on it worked fine for a few weeks then it stopped firing completely. I opened the gearbox to see one of the connections on the wiring had came off. I got glued it back on which worked for awhile. Then I tried to put in a high torque motor and not one, but both of the motor connectors came off. I decided I’d ditch this wiring since it was obviously very cheap. I put in wiring from a G&G gearbox I had previously opened and it worked fine. However when putting the upper and lower receivers together, the dust cover cams off. At the moment the gun works, however it wobbles more than any other gun I’ve seen because of the lack of the dust cover. It was glued into the gun and hot glue wasn’t enough to glue it back. Also, the stock requires an alan key just to change out a battery. Why is this? I honestly have no idea. The butt pad can be very hard to fit on as well. The stock concept from other guns isn’t broken, so why did E&C feel the need to fix it?
