"I have owned and used this gun for about 2 years, and it has served me well as both a primary and secondary rifle. It is accurate out to about 175 feet with 0.28’s since then I have completely upgraded it if you are worried about upgradability.... do not be. This gun is easy to find parts for, however you should have a certified tech work on it (AK’s in general are not the easiest to work on). Cyma brand mags fit the best, at least in midcaps (the highcaps can wobble a little too much for proper feeding). Make sure to budget some money for a parallax free optic, the gas tube rail is so far from the stock cheap optic’s reticles will be so enlarged they become unusable.

"I am actually shocked by the level of accuracy I have with this AK. The feeling of the weapon is sturdy metal but also lightweight enough to be easily portable. And the overall price is exceptional for a weapon of this kind of quality. I am very impressed and recommend this gun for new and old players alike.

"This gun is great! For the budget price of only $200 (of the time of this review), it performs better than my other, more expensive guns! Since it's so cheap, I bought 2 mid caps, a 7.4v LiPo, BBs, and more for only $250. It shoots extremely accurately, decent rps, and great fps. This gun may be old, but it sure is great.

"Very good sturdy AK the receiver has a very nice finish and the metal is high quality. I would easily give it 5stars out of five!

"If you are looking for something that is not an M4, get a CYMA AK!

"Writing this review after two years of use and ownership. My only regret was that I didn't buy the quad railed version. I find that the point of balance of this AEG sits exactly where the magazine well is and because of that you can't really hold it there like you would naturally and a foregrip would've been excellent to help manage the gun. Aside from the AEG, in my opinion being unbalanced, everything else is great. Really durable, Good range, acceptable accuracy, and I've never even had to sight it in with the hop up despite using different optics or transitioning from iron sights to optics. The folding stock is still solid along with basically everything else. The only thing that got loose, and it did get really, really, loose, was the fire selector. However all I had to do to fix that was pop open the plastic cap on the joint of the fireselector and tighten the screw with a phillips screwdriver and it was back to brand new. I'd also like to note that the fire selector issue only occured after two years of use and storage. I originally bought this AEG for 130 bucks and if you can manage to get it at that price I can reccomend with full confidence. If you have to pay more than that then you might want to consider other options but this still wouldn't be a horrible buy. Honestly would give it a 10/10 if it were balanced. However, because the balance of the AEG really affects the handling of an already heavier than most and longer than most AEG, negatively, gonna have to give it a 8/10. Also would like to mention that theres a pin in the orange flash hider so keep that in my mind.

"This is a great gun for anyone. beginner to pro. Shooting 426fps on .2g bbs out of the box for me. Has a metal hop up unit which is great . Battery chamber is a little tight but still fits a 9.6 stick . mag well is not the best, it holds the mags in with no wobble but must be placed in just right to lock in place. nice weight and sturdy feel. stock locks great and has almost no wobble. (this is my second ak-74 stlye rifle from CYMA and both preform great)
great range, and decent grouping. I through a scope on and was sniping kids all day

"First off, this gun is well-built. I've heard a lot of good things about newer CYMA guns and components, and this one doesn't disappoint. It's got a stamped steel body and stock that is very hefty where it counts. You could literally run over this thing with a car and it'd likely still be intact. Stock and barrel are also steel, but the rail system and removable metal pieces like the sights look like pot metal, albeit decent pot metal, Handgaurd, and handgrip are good quality plastic. Mine came with some barrel wobble, which can be fixed by tightening an allen key. Handgaurd was also pretty loose. I stuffed some foam in with it to tighten it up. The stock is also quite loose. Applying a few layers of tape or maybe some JB weld where the front of the stock meets the body of the gun should tighten it up.
The internals are also pretty good. You'll get a lot of life out of this gun if you don't want to touch the internals. I can't say how things were before I re-shimmed the gearbox, but after, it sounds very good when firing. Cylinder seal wasn't very good though - the compression was very bad. The motor most likely uses neo magnets, as the magnets are several times stronger than the cheap ferrite magnet motors I have in my other guns. Rate of fire on a 7.4 V lipo is about what you'd expect. Not amazing but also not super slow. I think about 11-13 rps. Lastly, the accuracy is also ok. Not amazing but not terrible. Probably can hit a target accurately at 150 ft or so. But if you can, you should flat-hop or R-hop it. This is where things get less nice. The barrel is pretty good and the hop-up is pretty good, but getting the barrel out requires a complete disassembly of the outer barrel. That is, you must remove the front sight, the front sling mount/handgaurd bracket, the handgaurd, the rail system, the rear sight, and the outer barrel. To top it off, there is a plastic piece that holds the hop-up against the gearbox that must be removed along with two screws holding the hop-up onto another plastic piece. By comparison, removing the gearbox is much easier...
All in all, for the price, 5/5. Get it (or another CYMA AK) if you're on a budget and want a solid gun or one that you plan on turning into a powerhouse.

"first of all, BUY THIS GUN! Chronoed it right outta the box it shot 393 full auto 398 single shot. I love this gun. Bought a couple CYMA standard ak mags and they seem to feed just fine. The distance and accuracy are pretty solid. I was shooting a garbage can at about 150 ft and hitting its pretty consistently. The hop up is super easy to work with as well, dont have to take off gloves to adjust. I use a 11.1 lipo battery and have to take care putting the battery in, its pretty tight but it works great. I love this gun. Ive been playing airsoft for a long time and spent 300$ on m4 builds that promised great rates of fire, fps, and range but they all let me down after a couple uses. This thing is a beast right out of the box. I would buy this and any other cyma ak and for 150 bucks you cant beat the price. CYMA makes cheaper guns as well and im sure theyre just as good as this one. Overall im really happy with this buy. 5/5 stars.

"Let's start off by saying this gun is amazing. The new generation of CYMA AK's have finally came. I might have been really lucky, or CYMA has stepped up their game by a lot! The gearbox is shimmed quite well, hardly any wobble (Only wobble came from the skeleton stock but that is normal and can easily be solved with one piece of electrical tape). The range is quite good and shoots around 150~165 feet with a .25 and 175ft with a .32. I paired mine up with a foam insulated suppressor and it does dampen the sound more than I expected and shoots quite silent. Recommend a regular stick 9.6v NiMh battery with this. The gun will accept MOST magazines I find that the CYMA AK74 style midcaps work superbly in this, and metal 47 banana mags make this gun look even more unique and "rebel" like. (maybe just me)
Pros:
Solid
Light weight
rail on front gas channel
A lot of possible customization
Range is good out of the box
Folding stock
Good FPS ~360 with .32 and ~380 with .25
Cons:
VERY VERY VERY minor stock wobble, again easily fixed with one small piece of electrical tape
Wish it had a full folding synthetic stock.
Wish I had another one
In the end 5/5 stars.

"Bought one of these a few months ago at the 1861 Milsim event in Colorado- Not a horrible gun- it is my first AK and I'll say it right now- its definitely a handful.
I will say its a bit heavy however- the grip is very comfortable, the mag paddle is very smooth and allows for quick reloads without feeling like you have to fight it.
One small problem- the button to 'retract' the stock did break off after a few days of use - thankfully I was able to fix this problem by putting the button in the hole and putting some electrical tape on it- which is such an AK solution. The stock itself however, is very solid and I doubt its going to betray me for quite some time- hard to find a folding stock on an airsoft gun with such structure and resilience like this one!
the charging handle is pretty solid and the hopup is pretty standard- however sighting it in is definitely a struggle- AK sights are not the most forgiving. Over all- out of the box I would definitely recommend some modifications- honestly a lot of gripes i have personally could be solved with a cheap amazon red dot/Eotech, and a 10$ spring from your local shop- One thing to keep in mind- this is an airsoft AK- so expect some frustration if you want to open this thing up yourself. Not the best AK but certainly not the worst. Just a decent CYMA AK replica.
(ONE THING TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN READING MY REVIEW: I am an AR guy- this is my FIRST AK purchase)
Also this thing just looks good- I mean look at it
