"I already have four of these installed on my hi capa 5.1s. The first one was a pain and took me almost six hours to hand file, fit, repeat until I got just the right trim. The next three only took me around 30 minutes each with my trusty Dremel tool. This will fit the compensator sold by Evike but make sure you order the Clockwise version. This is much cheaper compared to the Airsoft Masterpiece Comp Barrel (about twice the price) but the AM is a drop in part - no trimming/filing required. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase - hope this helps...oh btw this is for the 5.1.

"Like the other reviewer he was right, it is for the 5.1 hi capa and even says on the label. The thread size fits a 14mm compensator. Material is of good quality steel but is oversized and will need significant amount of filing to fit.

"The overall quality and construction of this piece is pretty good, the weight of the outer barrel absorbs a good amount of muzzle flip. If not for the incorrect information on this item's web page I would rate it higher. But for 45 dollars I expect more attention to detail from the evike staff. On the webpage it says that it's an outer barrel for 4.3 Hicapa but it also says that it's length is 5 inches. So which is it, a 4.3 inch barrel or a 5 inch barrel? The webpage also says that it has 16mm negative female threads when it actually has 16mm positive female threads. Evike only sells compensators for hi-capas that are in negative threads.
Long story short, you should only buy this if you want an metal outer barrel in combination with a positive threaded 16mm compensator for a Hi-capa 5.1. If you get this for a 4.3 Hi-capa this outer barrel will be too long. And if you don't pair this barrel with a compensator, the end piece of this barrel shift around and not stay in place so it seems that you have to use a comp with this style outer barrel. If you do decide that you want to pair this positive threaded barrel with a negative threaded comp I can tell you that it's do-able (I used a dremel and some thick plumbers tape) but the results will depend on your skill.
Evike should really get their info right and give people good information about their products. I bought this outer barrel to go with a comp and longer barrel, and I almost had to scrap the entire object because of mis-information
