Why Mid-Cap Magazines? Mid-Capacity magazines offer stealth operation by eliminating BB rattle often experienced with Hi-Caps. They feed smoother than Hi-Caps due to their high tension internal spring, similar to a real steel magazine. Since 470 round Hi-Capacity magazines don't exist in real life, a good amount of Mil-Sim players prefer Mid-Cap magazines for an even more realistic type of gaming experience.
Due to the design of all Mid-Cap magazines, they actually function better once you break them in. To do so spray some light silicone oil into the magazine, load and unload it a few times until BB's feed smoothly. This process breaks in the internal spring allowing it to function without problems each and every time.

" They work well enough, they cap out at about 120-160 bbs. While they work well most of the time they have a tendency to misfeed toward the end of mag, during the last 30 or so bbs, but apart from that they are solid, I have used them in the rain before without issue or rust, I recommend if you get them to get 2-3 because of how inconsistent they are in stock, and they function better then the m4 mags they want you to use, plus you have to buy and adapter for those. So overall 4/5
" We purchased three of these mags and initially experienced misfeeds from each of them. We disassembled each of them and wiped the insides down to remove the oil and spread any remaining oil evenly throughout the spring channel. Now each of the mags feeds consistently. We went from thinking we’d wasted money on a new, aeg that would consistently misfeeding, to having a new aeg that works very well. Very easy to disassemble and reassemble if you have the small screw drivers.
" Awesome mags. These are hefty, proprietary mags, just like the real thing. No bolt hold open tab like the real thing, but it's an aeg, so whatever. These mags feed great out of the box, and hold a hefty capacity. Be prepared to pay for the quality in heft though.
