Gas Magazine for Tokyo Marui P226 E2 Series Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistols - Black

"Had two KJW mags leak on me, so I decided to buy TM instead of dealing with fixing them. These are great out of the box and they indeed come pre-gassed to keep the internals lubed.

Through my own fault, I bought these thinking I owned a KJW p226. Turns out, I actually own a P229. I found out because when I tried these mags, they get stuck in my gun. I have to pull it out with great force.

I also found out that they get stuck because of the mag release hole just doesn't fit right and the thickness of the overall magazine is different enough from the stock KJW mag I had. I managed to get it to fit somewhat by filing down the right side mag release hole. It's easier to take it out now, but it does not free fall as easily. I think that's the only problem because I'm able to shoot from it just fine. With a 5-6 second gas charge, I can shoot 1 full mag with high fps and the second load it starts to fall and empties.

So beware, you can buy these for your KJW P229 but you have to mod it to "fit it", possibly voiding any returns.

"It’s Great! Came pre oiled and works with my KJW P226 (KP-01). Also had gas inside of it to keep the seals good. Will update my review if anything breaks.
