"Looked like this one was designed well so I made it my next primary-primary. So far, it's the cleanest designed, smoothest operating gbbr I've used yet. As far as engineering design it looks well created but well see over time. Just below a UMP, this is second most comfortable I've had for an AR variant. I don't have anywhere to shoot for distance but velocity and rps are steady.

Pros: everything except;
Cons: had to tighten left side selector screw a tiny bit after opening box (not really an issue. And for anyone, to right out of the box slightly adjust any components from the external shouldn't be an issue either).

Don't know what else to say other than read the item descriptions. %90 of questions are answered before you even form your questions.

"I got the 1 joule Japan compliant model and it’s just a beautiful replica. Performance is what you would expect from a gas gun. Accuracy under 100 feet is great, anything beyond can be a little iffy. Make sure you check the screws and body pins and use some loctite blue to secure them. They will shake themselves out fairly quickly otherwise.

FPS was as advertised, right at .98J with .32s. I can get about 3 mags out of 1 gas fill. Max range is about 150ft unless you over hop the bbs.

Mags feed, cycle and lock back on empty without fail so far. All in all a beautiful replica that is very skirmish able, especially for cqb/indoor play.

"So much fun! Bought an AW Custom drum magazine with this, solved all of the issues I had trying to find magazines for this gun. Very well built and nice looking

"Great gun,but DEFINITELY tighten all screws on entire gun. Many of the screws were hand tight and even loose when I went to use for the first time. The button lock for the flip out stock shot across the room when I first flipped it back, luckily I found the button and spring on the floor. I got blue thread lock and put it on all screws that could potentially loosen over time. After researching, alot of people had the same problem, so its a MUST to tighten all screws and bolts before you use your gun. ALSO when and if removing orange TIP, you should be aware that there is a small allen key screw that also holds tip on as well as glue. Also if you plan on using a compact tracer unit you will need to either cut 20mm off the inner barrel or get a 20mm outer barrel extension( inner barrel sticks out about 20mm past the outer barrel,so it blocks the sensor/lights on compact tracer units).I cut my barrel and worked fine, just make sure to flute/cone the end of barrel after cutting(dremel works good).

"Love this gun it's a nice small profile easy to get around corners I will say for a small barrel it's pretty accurate I got the 9.5 version witch i suggest so far the only issue I'm having is i didn't order enough bb's or gas I know a lot of people do cons but the only one I'm having is the barrel loosens so if you tighten it up after every game your good or buy some screw glue but it's pretty light weight the rate of fire is pretty reasonable.

If your looking for realism get this gun serious.
It breaks down like one you have to take care of it like a real one know I've only had mine for a week but I've put 20 mags through it and it's still awesome.

"Great GBBR!
2 things you must have for this though!
-the RaTech metal nozzle
-the AW custom gas drum mag for M4

"The Knights Armament PDW is an extremely well-built rifle with great attention to detail. The blowback system is very smooth and the trigger response is light and snappy with a rapid fire-rate to boot. Here are some pros and cons of the KAC PDW by EMG.

Pros:

- Flip-up iron-sights are fantastic for being included on the rifle
- Ambidextrous fire selector and mag release
- Balanced weight for quick target acquisition and fast movement
- Officially licensed by Knights Armament w/ all correct markings
- Folding stock made of aluminum and polymer
- Keymod system for mounting accessories (Keymod vs M-Lok is personal preference really)
- KAC Muzzle Brake included for replacing the orange tip when not transporting

Cons:

- The finish of the PDW is not anodized and is more prone to wear
- Only compatible with WE M4 magazines (for some that may be a non-issue)
- Pistol grip could be nicer but that's something you can change so not a big fault
- *Earlier sales of this KAC PDW came with a plastic proprietary designed magazine that never likes to seat properly at first, a major annoyance that has since been addressed thankfully :)

Overall the Knights Armament Co. (KAC) PDW is a fantastic gas blowback rifle with great quality parts being used and attention to detail like the real steel :)

"Pros :EVERYTHING
Cons:NOTHING

"Looks amazing and feels amazing. The weight of it is spectacular. Adds a lot of realism to it. Kudos for the QD sling mount in two different spots. Especially for those who are tall can add it to the stock and shorter players can switch it to the gun itself. Don't bother upgrading internals. Just add a sight of your choice and maybe a foregrip. For those at night definitely a laser and/or flashlight. M-loK mounts are a great bonus and can allow for a bit of color if you'd like.

Pros: A great gun for the price. Get the bundle it's worth it. Slim and great ergonomics. M-loK mounts can be placed at more than 3 and 9 hand. Adds more possibilities of attachments.

Cons: Magazine sometimes does not lock in place. I do not know if it's due to the gas switch on top or not, but it could be.

"Went out to a CQB field yesterday and used this gun for the first time. I must say it is amazing. I shot over 250 rounds and I didn't have a single problem. It also has a very nice feel and a hard kick.
Pros.
Nice range
CQB safe fps
Ergonomic feel
Great construction
Compact
Beautiful

Cons.
Bottom keymod rail isn't big enough for an AFG

"Great Gun, rock solid, great feel firing it with blow back, just need a lot of lube...I used this gun the whole morning on Saturday"s game @ Operation Lion claws and it did very well the only thing i wished was that i had more than 4 mags and the gas in each mag would last longer, and also really i wasn't figuring out haow to load the mags easily, had a very hard time loading the bb's in the mag and had to have a few extra cans of gas with me...as with OPLC 10 we had a lot of trigger time at that OP.otherwise the gun is good if you have plenty of time to load both the bb's and the gas...OPLC picture gallery has a good picture of me running with this baby....Overall.. great GBB to shoot...

"Pros:
-Sturdy build
-Compact (easy to get around corners)
-Good ROF (have not chronoed--you will notice the ROF is definitely adequate when you fire the weapon)
-Extremely accurate at CQB distances, I'm getting 1"-2" groupings at 50' and at 25' BB's are basically on top of each other (indoors, prone position, bi-pod, .25 BB, propane, stock internals, iron sights, with compact version)
-Crisp blow back
-EASY to break down
-Ambi
-Two mags! (This really rocks because GBB mags ain't cheap. Thanks Evike!)
-PDW mag
-Feels very sturdy
-Doesn't freeze as quickly as [metal] m4 mags

Cons:
-QD sling mount that came with mine was crap. It was bent and kept sticking. I prefer the Matrix QD mount.
-Slight wobble between upper and lower receiver (I put a very thin strip of electrical tape between the receivers to "fix" this
-50rd mags WOULD BE AWESOME
-There is rust on my front sight post

How I run this gun:
-First thing I did was lube the internals (I put the tape on as well, while I was inside the gun)

-I installed the RA-Tech NPAS (being able to change the FPS is VERY helpful because most fields don't allow over 400 FPS for CQB) http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=26_580&produ-
-
cts_id=32247

-I always use .25 gram BB's or .28 gram BB's
-I use a one-point sling
-I carry 2 mags in shorter games(i.e. elimination), and 4-6 in longer games with more players (i.e. CTF)
-I replaced the sling mount
-Flashlight on occasion

Would I recommend this gun?
Hell yes. This is, by far, my favorite GBB for CQB.

"This is an awesome rifle! Very powerful, shoots very straight and a great simulation of the real thing.
by Willis L. on 01/27/2016
"Maintenance: this gun is easy maintenance can by taken apart and clean using only a punch and the
spring removal tool (included). the internal are all metal except the nozzle and is very
roomy allowing easy access to lube and clean there inst really any fuss with spring and
such

Weight: the gun can be consider huffy for a pdw weight 4.5 pounds to 5 as a main weapon it isn't too
but may be to heavy for some to be fielded as a secondary

Magazine Capacity: the magazines hold enough gas for too clips of 30+1bbs. for mil sim looking for ultimate realism this mag is one of the few that offers real cap to the real steal but for skirmishers your going to find your self out gunned by aeg that can fire several thousands rounds witch would take every pocket in your vest filled with this mag to match. note: mags are 40+$ and up we tech as shown no interest in producing a high cap for skirmish use .

Pro
Realistic construction and operation
Accurate
Real cap mag(mil sim)
Easy maintenance
Ambidextrous controls ( Except bolt release)
Adjustable Windage (Rear Sights)'
