" I would rate this gun overall as a 4/5, but for me this gun is a 5/5 because of the quality of the externals on this gun. I have had this gun since 2018 and it was the first high end airsoft gun I purchased and I was not disappointed with my purchase. From other reviews it seems that people had problems with the i5 gearbox, and so did I. The website isn’t very clear, but the i5 is meant to do full auto rather then semi auto. I used this gun more as a dmr with its longer barrel, and in doing so fried the internals. I took the gun to a tech, and the motor was swapped but the gearbox broke again. I used this as my excuse to get into hpa and dropped an amped airsoft gearbox with a Kythera engine. I also installed a different stock, Maxx hop up, maple leaf bucking and rubber, a zci 6.02 inner barrel, and a tracer unit, and after upgrading the entire gun, it is flawless. While the only stock parts are the externals. This gun shoots laser beams, but if you want to keep it as an aeg I would recommend using it mostly on full auto, and only use an 11.1 lipo, as it shouldn’t be used with anything other then an 11.1 because the lower voltage won’t power the gearbox. It also comes stock with a programmable gearbox where you can program it to have safe-semi-full, safe-semi-3 round burst, or safe-semi-9 round burst. Look up on YouTube how to program that, but at the end of the day this gun is worth the purchase. If you’re looking to fix something on the gun, I would get a better gearbox, as the i5 was good on paper but not in practice. It’s not a terrible gearbox, but there are definitely better ones out there. I recommend this gun because the externals are amazing and if you fix the internals this gun will never fail you.
