Snow Wolf Power Up Spring Upgrade Set for M24 Airsoft Sniper Rifles

"The scraping noise your hearing is probably the piston sear. Buy the seat set but Angel custom that is for the snow wolf/javelin m24 and it will go away. They have 2 sets that says it fits the sw which it does but you have to make it fit. The one that says it's for the snow wolf and javelin m24 in the title goes in perfect.

"The compatibility section of the description says this FITS the CYMA M24. It unfortunately DOES NOT. The piston set on the CYMA is larger. If it had been the right size piston, I would not have used the o-ring it came with, as it was twisted up and deformed in such a way that there would have been a ridge crossing over the sealing surface and would not have sealed properly. I WAS able to use the stronger spring, as well as the true ball bearing it came with, which although I haven't done a post install chrono, definitely brought up the power of my rifle which was already shooting above it's advertised spec. For $20, I'm not returning it, and glad for the bump in performance. This is just a warning for CYMA M24 owners (aka CM702), this is not for your gun. PS. Everything else I've ordered off Evike so far has been great.

"I got this in a package deal with my sons new SnowWolf M24, when I took it out of the package I found some aluminum shavings. I cleaned, lubed, & installed; at 1st it would lock the piston back. After breaking it down and inspecting I found a large pile of shavings inside the piston! (Come on a little quality control guys) Obvioulsy I didn't inspect it well enough, after cleaning it out and reinstalling it is now functioning. It brought it from 365fps in stock configuration to 471fps with .25's. To be honest I don't know how much I trust it to function a long time BUT it's a $22 upgrade. That concidered it is pretty good as an interim upgrade but who knows if it hold up we'll keep it in longer.

"Like one of the comments down below, there's seems to be a scraping noise everytime you pull the bolt back. It's obvious that the cylinder is getting scraped. This could very well be an issue in the future but for the time being, apart from the scraping noise, it's been great! Now I don't know if this is a good estimate of the power added to it from the original, but I shot right through a plastic water bottle with water in it, which I couldn't do with the original and for that matter my $200 M4. Trust me, you will see a huge difference in the power! I can't stress this enough, before you buy, keep in mind you might have to buy a new cylinder in the future which is very unfortunate, and is why I rated this a 3 star. Hope this helped!
