"I have had my VSS rifle for about a year now, and it is absolutely wonderful for the price. It is very accurate to some distance, comes with a good 9.6v battery, and is very long. The sight radius is very long and the stock has a comfortable butt-pad. I would recommend this rifle for anyone looking for a good DMR that has select fire.
PROS:
Comes with battery
Full metal body and gearbox
Heavy (could be a con as well)
Very Accurate
High ROF
Good trigger response
Full auto capability
Comes with 2 mags
CONS:
Mags are proprietary to this gun
No rails (Rail pieces are expensive)
Battery is difficult to access
Mags only hold 150 rounds
Mid-caps haven't been released yet
Overall, I highly recommend this gun if you are willing to pay a little extra for multiple mags.

"This gun has been great. I bought this gun because it's my favorite in real life and I had to make few compromises. Out of the box this gun had a steady 15 RPS and 398 FPS and has kept this performance for over a month now. The build is sturdy and looks great. The only real problem is the mags.
Pros
-15 RPS
-390 to 400 FPS
-Long lasting
-Great feel
-Built strong
-Actually is Lipo ready
Cons
-Only takes Igor Mags
-Mags don't feed correctly always and can only load in about 15 BBs
-Hop Up doesn't always stay where you've adjusted it to

"I wanted a starter gun, but I didn't feel like going along the traditional AK/M4 route. I bought this gun and a PSO-1 scope, and it looks awesome!!
No complaints on the gun itself, shoots like a dream.
The magazines, on the other hand, I have some issues with.
1: The last 10 BBs apparently don't want to feed into the gun, causing me to hold the gun upside-down. The only problem I have with this is that it makes me look like "a questionable individual". Im not sure if this issue is only present in my gun, but honestly, I don't think it's that bad.
(Webmaster: It is because it is a hi-cap, all hi-cap magazine in Airsoft need some bbs to push the bb up...)
2: Ammo cap. the 150 rounds fly by in automatic mode, but if you use it in semi auto, you should be alright in terms of magazine longevity.
Oh, and prepare to modify the PSO-scope of your choice, as for it will not (repeat: WILL NOT) fit on the gun. I had to remove the light housing on my PSO-1 scope for it to even fit on the side mount. And, even after brute-forcing the light housing off (took it off like a screw), it still is a bit to left of the gun. If you're a skilled enough marksman, you'll know that all that means is you have to aim a little to the left of your target rather than directly on him.
Lastly, I will acknowledge that the gun is not proportionate to the actual gun, though, honestly, it is very, very close to the real one, and I find it irrelevant regarding the gun's performance.

"I was shopping around for a new aeg for a dmr style loadout. And this one struck me as the one. Out of the box with the fully charged stock battery and .28's I was getting about 340 to 350fps and looking at 16rps. Not bad at all. Dropped in my lipo stick, which fits fine and went to 370-380fps and 18rps. This VSS out ranges my Ares G36CV easily by 40 ft. The hop up need to be broken in some but 500+ rounds later it's settled in nicely! For the price, this unit is awesome. nice barrel, nice bucking, lipo ready and I can game it out of the box. Gear box internals haven't been opened yet, but no reason to so far. Also with a scope, this looks fan'friggin'tastic!!

"Got this a few days ago for a really good price, here's my two cents:
Pros:
-Nicely built
-A nice outdoor gun right out of the box, has solid range and well within the 400 FPS range with .25s
-Accurate shooting
Cons:
-Not a perfect replica, but these are negligible differences
-Mags are meh quality, and its awkward to reload because its tough to get the mags in properly
-Battery compartment requires 2 screws to get to and it is a pretty tight fit
-Haven't figured out how to do away with the giant orange tip
Overall, Id give this product a 4/5. Although it has some problems, when it comes down to it it is a solid airsoft gun for somebody who likes to play outdoors. And if you are getting it: buy a rail adapter for it! Its a worthy investment to make.
