"meh, better than a slickster, just an 2011 version of the fcpc imo, Im a gwot guy so mmac and dpc and bulky carriers are my jig, jpc is great starting carrier, but invest in other companies too
Had it for a year
Has 2 layer molle cbun
crye attachment proprietary placard (front mag things for the uninformed)
Light carrier, esapi cut (unless stated otherwise), smth or other to make it seem like i know what im talking abt
idk im faded than a ho
"To start, this plate carrier has a few differences from the Crye official JPC 2.0. To start, the "stretch fabric" on the inside of the carrier is full multicam on the replica, and tan on the official. I prefer the tan, but its no big deal to me. This one is PERFECT if you want the JPC look AND full durability, but keeping it somewhat cheap. The replica pouches and panels are all infinitely cheaper than the official, but as it states, the 2.0 replica pouches do NOT fit the official, and vice versa. The zippers are not the same size. The replica comes with a front mag panel, which works good, but the official does not come with it. I swapped my bungee cords with pull tabs and threw in some kydex holsters, made it even more amazing. It has a built in admin pouch, which reaches from the very top under your chin, all across and down to where the mag panel starts. The admin pouch even has elastic if you need to strap some things down. Also has some loops that tuck away for buckles for other pouches. I HIGHLY recommend getting a Dangler pouch if you want more protection from BBs, and some more carry space. It is very light, breathes well, and holds good weight. If youre looking to buy a JPC but are on the fence, absolutely go with it. This is going to last compared to the cheap sub $100 ones, and its real multicam, so you wont have a dark vest with a brighter BDU. I wouldnt use the emergency don/doff feature too much, even tho its simply velcro and will last many many pulls. I also recommending getting some softer shoulder pads if you run real plates. My plates are steel core and about 8lbs each, so softer pads make this amazing.
TLDR PROS AND CONS
Pros
Fits amazing and breathes well
LOTS of MOLLE space. Almost the entire vest.
Super adjustable. Though I run real plates and recommend only getting large for the width, not length. Its also only a 1" - 1.5" difference.
Replica pouches and panels are WAY cheaper, but still super high quality.
Cons
None aside from the minor colour nitpick of this being FULL multicam aside from some velcro, the shoulder straps, and the bungee cords. Yes, too much multicam can be a bad thing.
