PTS Fortis Shift CNC Machined Billet Aluminum Short Vertical KeyMod Mounted Grip (Black) The PTS Fortis Shift Vertical Grip is a one piece billet design made from 6061-T6 aluminum. The skeletonized design grants it with an overall weight of 92g (Rail Mount) and 104g (Keymod); making the grip very lightweight. Even with its unique angled skeletonized design, the PTS Fortis Vertical Grip still maintains the same length as any traditional vertical grip. The grip allows users to use the older boxing style grip as well as the newer thumb break method or as a hand stop. The angled design as well as the finger notch allows for ergonomic flexibility, accepting the use of their forefinger (traditional method), ring finger (thumb break method) or pinky finger (hand stop method).

" Noticed a lot of other reviews and comments that they were wobbly. Mine had two sets of locking lugs and on my vfc vr16 Calibur carbine cqb the long ones were wobbly but I swapped them for the shorter set and it's rock solid. Getting the screws is a bit awkward and would help if it came with an Allen key but I had one so no big deal. I'm not sure if the 2 sets of locking lugs is a new thing or it's always come that way but took 2 seconds to swap them and it locked up solid, looks and feels great and adds very little weight.

" Like the other reviews say, it was really wobbly at first. Had to grind down the keymod lock things and now it fits snuggly. Gotta say, I expected better for a pricey product from a brand like PTS. In any case, now they work great. If you're used to solid grips like the BCM ones, these skeletal ones can take a while to get used to. Other than those two things, solid product.
