"This is a very reliable gun. I used a new 11.1v LiPo battery for it, but the semi auto trigger depression was firing 2 rounds instead of one. My other 11.1v battery works just fine in it though. I’m not sure why it’s inconsistent, but that is the only bad thing about this gun. I played Airsoft the same week I got it and it works perfectly the whole time I was there, it also attracted some eyes because of its realism and style. If you don’t like the bullpup style then I wouldn’t get it, but if you are into interesting guns then I would totally recommend it. It worked well and is great for the price!

"What an inaccurate and SILLY little statement for Evike.com to include in the description of this AEG: “ The bullpup design is not the most popular in the real fire-arm world because the shell would eject, heat up or even explode in the shooter's face…”…
MANY countries across the world use bullpups as the standard issue service rifle for their armed forces: Israel, Austria, France, Great Britain, Australia, Singapore, and China to name a few.
Or maybe the description was written 50 years ago when the bullpup design first came out…
Either way it’s silly and INACCURATE.
I’m a proud owner of the AUG myself - she’s an absolute UNIT 10/10 recommend! _3

"People who say there are feeding issues are probably not loading it properly because when you just put it in straight part of the magazine pops out in the back causing feeding issues. What you want to do is tilt at an angle and then rock the back in so it is flush with the gun. Very good gun for the price would recommend hope this was helpful.

"For my first airsoft gun I'm quite enjoying it so far, only con is I easily popped out the safety but it was easy to put back in.

"This gun is accurate. I could be incorrect about this part, but I believe the QC on this gun from Factory slipped for a bit. I too had feeding issues and Evike did a solid job of repairing it and now it’s about as perfect as an AUG can get.
Moral of this story Evike can’t possibly inspect every gun before shipping, but what they can do is warranty the gun. Don’t remove your orange tips without putting a decent amount of rounds through it.
To EVIKE: On the other hand you do see in the reviews similar complaints about the probably exact same issue and I feel like if I had more then 4-5 reviews stating similar issues, it might be a good idea to pull the product and investigate. But that might be asking a touch too much.
Pros:
Accuracy (it shoots better then all my other rifles in this general price range)
Trigger (not the response but the function)
Fairly solid build
Ambi-friendly
Easy take down
Easy “no tool” barrel swap (you could carry varying lengths)
Cons:
Trigger response (not a performance trigger)
Foregrip probably could be a touch more stable.
Look out for these feeding issues. (if you look into the magwell you can see a plate with a hole for the bbs to feed into. In my case that whole plate was loose and floated around misaligning the feed)

"This is a nice aeg. I got it from BOA and gave it a shot. It’s built solid and has some weight to it. It shoots fine, tried with.20 and .25 bb’s and gots nice grouping at 50yrds. Only able to shoot it in my backyard. It doesn’t mention, but it has a v3 gearbox with quick change spring system. Easier change spring from Buttstock. Folding hand grips is loose and rattles. Flip up sights that come with it is garbage. Upgrades and parts seem limited or out of stock. Tight battery space. Other than that, it’s a fairly good aeg. Has a 20in barrel, it can be a nice compact sniper build.

"I bought the green version and it feels very nice
Pros: very nice polymer, and the metal feels well, Very accurate at 120 feet, very very easily disassembly. Very well weighted.
Cons: feels very fragile first time you disassemble, trigger bar is very noisy, accidentally pull the trigger into full auto.
Besides that very good, also be careful with the rail on top as i dropped my gun and the back part snapped

"WORTH IT!!!!!
one of the best rifles you could get for under $200
first off it’s sexyyy even better in person has a nice weight not too heavy though very very accurate good rate of fire the trigger is a 2 phase no selector can take a little to really get use to but it’s easy once you do it shoots great i haven’t had any issues with it what do ever and adjusting hop up is really easy and disassembly couldn’t be easier.
one things i’d say that could be better are the fore grip is a tad bit wobbly it’s not a game changer it’s still very stable but you can feel if your trying to see how wobbly it is the battery space in the stock is very limited you can fit the battery it comes with but barely and the charging handle is also a little wobbly
but if you buy this the pros FAR FAR outweigh the cons this rifle is a blast to use and eye candy to look at youll have all the m4 guys drooling if you pull this out
but finally amazing gun for the price definitely worth all the money if your looking for your first rifle this should definitely be it

"this AUG is really well made. no real complaints other than the first day i got it, i pulled the fire selector button right out of the gun with not much force so just be careful that you dont pull it out. it's not rocket science to put back in but it had me scared for a second.
stock battery is super bulky, barely fits in the stock. spend $15 and get a smaller LiPo battery.
the hop up adjustment is really nice; very accurate gun. this thing could shoot the freckles off of a fruit fly.
5/5

"I love the style of the AUG A1 as when i got it in i was very happy. The built in scope is very nice and the mag it came with works pretty well. It also came with an ASG trademarked 8.4v 1400mAh battery and 200 20gbbs. The orange tip was not that hard to get off as all you have to do is dip it in boiling water for 1-2min to loosen the glue and turn it clockwise with a small pipe wrench. Even though the picture shows it, mine did not come with an Steyr trademark on it tho. Overall the AUG shoots very accurately and with more use i plan to upgrade the fps.
