"This was my first time installing a mosfet on my own, and I'm not the best tech. With that said, it was literally plug and play just as they claim. As others have said, make sure you get the one with the control board so you can properly tune your mosfet. I currently have it in my A&K MK46, it has made a huge difference in my performance. Definitely a must have for support gunners!

"For what it is and does it is so worth the money spent. I loaded this into my DMR and it works like a champion. Make sure to buy the version that comes with the control panel or you'll spend more money to get the features needed.

"This GATE warfet is absolutely worth double the asking price. Blown away on the quality, included hard wires (single and double, tamiya and deans adapters and male and female deans connectors with heat shrink). The programming is so easy, and the directions are very very clear. If you have issues, you can look it up on YouTube for a brief tutorial. I found this mosfet from Negative Airsoft on YouTube. He recommends this mosfet and installs a lot of these. If it wasn't for him, I never would have known about this mosfet. You have the option to PLUG N PLAY which is for everyone/inexperienced new techs/players. Hardwiring will improve custom setting capabilities and protect your trigger contacts, but either way once you plug this is, you can use 7.4/11.1 Lipo/LI-ON batteries safer by reducing the ROF.
I had an overspin issue on one of my custom builds. Just by using the plug and play method after programming the settings to 50% ROF and Active Braking, this build shoots semi auto no problem and the trigger response/ROF on full auto is amazing.
GET IT if you want to have a simple plug and play or hardwired mosfet system. I just purchased a second warfet chip to use with my other aegs. I will be hardwiring this 1 when it comes in. You only need 1 card, so if you need another warfet, just purchase the chip separate, as evike sells it.

"This is an excellent mosfet highly recommend. If you're tech savy do the full wire conversion a bit of soldering and you're aces , if not just plug and play. The tactical programing card makes it so easy to customize and adjust on the fly no more pesky trigger nonsense. Super user friendly haven't had a problem yet. Love it.

"Purchased the warfet kit, excellent ! Installed this on my A&K M249 PARA to be used with an 11.1 / 15 c / 1600mah lipo battery.
I've used the optional two wire trigger switch wiring included with the warfet... and then upgraded the motor wires to 16 awg wired now directly to the motor bypassing the trigger switch, very simple installation and using the included programming card it is a snap ! Now I'm able to adjust the rate of fire up or down in less than two minutes !
Also has battery protection. The warfet mosfet has way more settings you could use but on the m249 I'm only using the battery protection setting and the rate of fire adjustment which should help to save the gearbox and motor when using the matrix 11.1 low c rated lipo I'm using. I'm using a stock gearbox with no mods, I did get some gaurder
Gear grease and with a small short brissel brush paint some grease on the gears at the gearboxes access near the trigger switch everything running very smoothly and the m249 now spits Fire !!

"bought this for my M14 EBR while doing a full DMR build. I did the full wire swap over and not the plug and play feature so I am not sure how the plug and play will perform. This unit is very easy to use and does everything it says it will. I was able to make the rifle semi only by playing with the features and did not have to remove or modify any of the internals on the gun. the auto cocking works great and I have never used an AEG with a response like this before. I picked it up at my local airsoft place and have been very happy with the performance so far.

"This product doesn't work with the "ARES Airsoft Complete E.F.C.S Gearbox Set" with the Electronic Gearbox.
The burst fire mode on this in my opinion was a disappointment. If you let go of the trigger before the gun finishes cycling the 3 shots it stops and doesn't finish the burst.

"Came Dissasemmbled with no instructions, youtube has no instructions either. I thought it was plug n play meaning it came assembled. Good thing i know how to do it, just wasn't to happy to spend 80 bucks to have to do it myself. Unit is great though!
