"I've had one of these for a while now and it's just a really great gun.
Well-built, hard-hitting and accurate.
My only two complaints are that the dust cover on the receiver tends to pop open when you bump it and I had a little bit of difficulty getting the orange tip off.
It's just a really great gun straight out of the box and worth the money.

"UPDATE: Passed my 45 day warranty without any problems, TIME to upgrade it?? but honestly this short AEG out of the box is Phenomenal. I still believe strongly that this has out preformed any VFC, G@G, G@P and Krytac I have owned or played in the past 2 or 3 years. Softers always ask what all i have done to the gun, because it looks heavily moded out of the box. I have fired at least 30000, shots out of it already. Sorry to all you Krytacers out there but this out preformed Krytac. This was my first ICS, an I love them. Because I love this gun so much, I did today try out an 11 inch Prometheus barrel under my new mock suppressor, to bring the fps well over 400 fps. I'm right around 430 fps (.20) 390( .25)with a couple inches of extra barrel, for my outdoor skirmishes, An I feel i Have the accuracy of my TM Vsr-10 but semi auto an full auto! Have played airsoft for 7 years an I Highly recommend THE ICS CXP CAPTAIN!!

"Straight of the box, it preformed better better than an vfc, kwa or elite force i have purchased in the past 2 years. It only has a seven inch barrel, an is just toying with those other aegs in accuracy.
Pros:
Very well feel in cqb situations. The trigger response is the fastest ive seen yet.
Can comfortably hit a man sized target from at least 200 feet 8 out 10 times.
with the 11.1 lypo make sure you switch in the green fuse they give u in the box or you will blow the yellow fuse in a single shot.
Has preformed great with the 11.1 lipo im looking at about 25 rps with it, i chronoed after breaking it in and it was shooting 390 to 400 fps. with .20s 330 to 350 with .25s
cons: Nothing at all honestly, the split gearbox makes it so easy for upgrades, cleaning an replacement parts.

"I love this AEG. I felt I would bring it out t a few games before posting a review but since playing with it I've learned to love it more. Mind you, nothing, outside the gearbox and the ICS hop-up are stock.
It's been a dream to customize and tune this aeg with ICS' split gearbox design. I never tested the gun stock but if you're looking for a project rifle that will make you feel like you have something that performs to Umbrella Armory standards at a fraction of the price then this might be the gun for you.
Pros:
-Size, weight, feel
-Easy to modify - gears, fet, compression, etc...
Cons:
-the only that I really experienced was loss of teeth on the spur gear before I swapped out the gears. The split gearbox design made it really easy to identify the problem when it

Final thoughts: If you decide to buy this and you just want to do the simplest of upgrades a Prometheus 300mm inner barrel comes absolutely flush with the Angel Customs 130mm hive suppressor WITHOUT power up. That combo along everything else I've done internally has me hitting a basketball size target at 200 feet pretty much every shot.
