"I swear to god you won’t find a better gun for your money. This gun is so comfortable and kicks hard. It is easily field strip able and durable as hell. If you don’t Get This Gun You Are Stupid. Would rate 1000 stars but there are only five

"I love this pistol. I have carried this side arm for the last three years, it has finally wore out enough I am buying another one to replace it. ASG makes a great product.

"Tired of your glock and hi capa looking like everyone else?
Not only will this pistol stand out in the crowd, but when holding it, people will find you both more attractive and charismatic!
Really though?
Very high quality full metal (aluminum) build that is very sturdy and durable. (KJW OEM) Really, a guy had this pistol fall out of his rig into a puddle, then found it a month later with a metal detector, then went on to play with it the same day! I've shot close to 10k rounds through mine.
There are some good looking grips and other parts for the pistol if you want that cool sleek race pistol look. I mean, this gun is a rel life IPSC super star after all.
Handles C02 and green gas which is awesome when switching from indoors to outdoor play.
This pistol is the most comfortable pistol I have ever held. It is more slender and sleek than glocks, m9s, m&p, etc.
There's a great holster for it too (if that's your thing).
Rail on the frame makes mounting your m203 a cinch! Well, ok, how about a TLR pistol light?
I can't say enough good things about this pistol. If you've made it this far in the reviews, you should just buy it already and thank me later.

"Looks so good out of the box. Feels absolutely incredible. GG mag is pretty sluggish, get co2 mags. This gun loves co2. The mc kydex holster fits it well. Now to the meh. The finish is weak. Especially compared to my real steel CZs rubberish finish. That stuffs bullet proof. This stuff is kind of flakey and thin. A lot of reviews state they have weak slide stops, so look into buying an upgraded steel one and you'll be good to go. With co2 you'll want. 28 or even .3s. Orange tip came out with applied head and pressure.
Pros
Heavy construction
Nice single action trigger
Comfortable grip
Gorgeous cz greatness
Cz trade marks even on the mag base plates
Cons
Magazine base plate is ultra chinasium
Slide stop is weak and will break and need replaced
Double Action trigger pull is grind and long (we need a Cajun trigger for airsoft lol)
Ugly ASG roll marks and 6mm markings on the side.

"As my first gas blowback airsoft gun my review may be a little bias due to the excitement lol but yes I think this handgun is very well made and performs great!
The first thing I noticed when I picked it up was the weight. This gun is heavy! Now it's not too heavy mind you but it is heavier than other gbb pistols I've held before. I actually like this heavier feel as I've been told that it's more realistic to the actual real CZ-75 SPO1 Shadow. Hickok45 on youtube has a good video on the real version if you're interested.
Ergonomics feel good as well especially with the rigid rubber grip. Safety is ambidextrous while slide catch and release and the mag release are not.
Magazine capacity is at 25 rounds plus one in the chamber which is adequate I think.
What makes this gun special is that it can operate either with green gas or C02. So if any of you have a certain gas preference than this gun won't be a problem for you. Keep in mind you need to buy the specific magazine for either gas type of your choosing.
Disassembly is easy. All you need to do is to remove a pin and the whole slide comes off which gives you access to the top of the mag well as well as the innards of the chamber. This is also how you adjust the hop up.
I've only had 2 issues with mine.
The first stemmed from the disassembly as mentioned above. When I try and reattach the slide and put the pin in that holds it in place, the hole that houses the pin has some kind of thin obstruction from another part of the gun preventing me from inserting the pin completely without having to put a lot of force to move it out of the way so I can reattach it. This may just be mine and is not a big issue once you learn how to get around it.
The second revolves around the front sight with the fiber optic. Mine fell off after only few different times I went out to use it. I think my holster may have pulled on it too hard which resulted in this. Just keep this in mind when you draw it as the front sight seems to only be attached kind of weakly.
These two issues prevent it from a 5 star rating for me. Other than that, performance is good. This gun sounds great when firing and using the slide release, recoils good, and it hasn't failed on me yet.
Looks great with the black and slick design. If any of you airsoft hipsters out there wanna stand out from the crowd, this is a very valid option.
Now I just gotta learn how to lubricate this thing...

"Great and reliable, expect to purchase maintenance parts.
Had the handgun for about two years now, the black finish has worn alot, which can be cool for some and a bummer for others. Me personally I wish the finish lasted longer, but my main problem is that the slide lock was weak from the start and wore down into non- functionality fairly quickly. Recoil on the handgun with the C02 magazines is very nice, which may have lead to the degradation of the slide lock, however I ran green gas for the first year and a half I owned it. Other than the slide lock issue the Shadow has been a heavyweight, hard kicking (after C02 mags) and reliable sidearm for almost 3 years now.

"The gun looks fantastic, the finish is a nice even matte black and everything fits tight.
However, the quality of the materials is certainly lacking. The slide and slide catch are extremely soft zinc alloy. My slide catch wore out and quit functioning after only a few magazines.
I also developed an issue with the gun shooting way too soft from my Co2 magazine. It is an intermittent issue that I still haven't been able to pin down on what is causing it. I've even had the gun fail to fire with a fresh C02 canister. I'm thinking the valve striker may be weak or malfunctioning.
Despite all the issues the gun looks great and when it shoots as it's supposed is very accurate. The kickback is weaker than a 1911/HiCapa due to the smaller slide but it is still decently snappy.
I will update this review if the gun totally quits functioning, fortunately ASG has a solid warranty so I suspect in the event of a total failure the issue will be rectified.
