"got say after reading the first review it thought it was going to be a pain to install on my 416 but really it wasn't, just cut off the 2 sling point areas on the gas block and you'll be fine. the rail it's self is maybe a pound lighter then the stock rail that comes with the 416. the design is slick and smooth, no cutting edges and very durable. I got to say i love this rail. everyone who has a 416 at my field asked where i got the rail from.

"This is a great quality rail and it comes with 3 rail segments for it
couple things to note, I put this on the VFC 416A5 aeg
- the barrel is 2 pieces so it may be difficult to get the gas block off to install it
- to get it on you have to grind off the ridge on the top back side of the gas block if you don't remove it
-The threading on the barrel nut is wider than standard so you have to shim it to fit snug
-i used some flattened toothpicks to shim it tight

"I bought one of these awhile back and thought I'd write a review that's actually helpful. If you're buying this rail you're more than likely putting it on a elite force/umerex 416 a5, and installation is fairly simple, the only pain is in removing the mock gas block because it is held in by a roller pin and that requires a punch (it's not the rails fault, it's the guns). But in all honesty the rail looks nice, its lighter than the heavy as fuk stock rail and isn't as chunky either. It's included metal rail segments are a breeze to install and move around to your liking and also accepts all forms of vertical grips (even a magpul rvg). So in all I would have given this product a 5/5 if it wasn't such a pain to remove the mock gas block and install the included barrel nut. Thanks for reading!

"I haven't fielded the rail yet but here are my first impressions. The rail is pretty nice; good finish good material. Installation can be a pain because of how well the VFC parts are installed. You WILL have to cut of the sling attachment points on the gas block (not a big deal). The reason I'm giving this 4 out of 5 is because of compatibility issues. While the picatinny on top of the rail system (the non removable part) seems to be mil-spec the included rail segments (2 short segments and one long segment) are NOT mil-spec. I was unable to attach a Magpul RVG the rail segment because the rail segment was too wide. So be aware of that.
