"Ended up ordering two of these outer barrels because of incorrect measurements. First barrel was the longer one and it was a little loose (these aren't one piece). I could have probably fixed it, but the second was on the way. The second fit better, and was not loose. So, inconsistent quality I think, but overall did the trick. Would consider ordering again

"All in all, it works. It was lighter and shorter than the stock 2-piece barrel assembly that comes stock on a G&G CM-16 Raider L 2.0e. That was the initial purpose of my replacement. However, if anyone else is going this route, note you will also need a new hand guard as the stock M-Lok hand guard interfaces with the upper receiver in a way that requires a different barrel nut and hand guard.

The only problem I had with this barrel was when I attempted to change out the inner barrel and hop up chamber. This outer barrel has a ridge to catch the inner barrel spring but the ridge is placed too far back inside of the outer barrel assembly, when compared to the stock outer barrel component that comes with the Raider 2.0e and butts up against the receiver. Not a huge deal, as either (1) cutting the inner barrel spring or (2) removing the inner barrel spring entirely fixes the issue.

Other than that, this barrel trims about 3” (with the muzzle brake) off the overall length and weighs about 0.75 lbs lighter. For the price, I can’t imagine going wrong with this outer barrel.

"Great outer barrel, super light, has a powder coat and a shine to it. Threads are strong and paint won't strip unless you frequently screw your flash hider off.

"Solid barrel for my apex mk13 one the gun hard to find parts for. 10 inch barrel fix really nice and no wobbles. The hard part was the stock hop up unit in the barrel . little dremel work to the barrel in slots. Fits good!

"Great barrel. Sturdy, VERY easy to install to both of my upper receivers, and durable. Somewhat extendable once the retention set screws are loosened for a bit of extra length which is awesome; wasn't enough for the 19" barrel I have but still great. My one issue is its stability; the sheer length just doesn't let it free float too easily unless I messed something up. Simple fix: A piece of 1.5" pipe insulation jammed into the end of my rail system; stabilizes it perfectly and is a dark gray you have to look for it on the gun and thus maintains the tacticool look rather than looking like something jury rigged straight into the Fallout universe.

"Solid and straight barrel. The gas block cutouts are too shallow to mount a G&P, G&G, and JG gas block/front sight. A dremel fixes this. It mounted perfectly on my G&P MOTS receiver with a standard delta ring.

"Great quality barrel. Fits the CM16 Raider, but you can't use the pieces that secure the stock external barrel. You'll have to buy those separately. I don't think the tip is -14mm threaded. My bird cage flash hider screws on twice leaving the entire threading exposed.
