AGM Type 96 Airsoft Bolt Action Sniper Rifle (Package: OD Green w/ Scope)

"Okay so this is my first airsoft gun and to be honest I was stoked to get this thing im going to be very straight forward here these were my issues with the gun.
Pros-
comes with a speed loader
comes with a sling
easily assessable hop up switch
you can adjust the head rest
Good fps if you want something over 500 fps get an angle custom fps kit for the type 96
for me it shot a straight 460 fps with .28 personally I would go up to .40 to account for wind
good weight to it pro or con
very realistic type 96 replica
Cons-
personally I feel like jamming happened a bit too often, if you pulled back the bolt two times it would load two bbs.
sometimes it would spit all the bbs into the barrel and you would have to get them all out
honestly not a big of an issue because once you know how to use the sniper jamming wont be an problem
WEIGHT. it's a bit too heavy for me being a completely polymer body you will get used to the weight but expect a heavy sniper.
the mags are a but cheap and one of mine broke no big deal.
also this could be a pro or a con but I opened up the rifle and it looked like in the stock there was rusted metal inside of it. I had no problem with it and quite frankly they're using recycled metal making the gun cheaper.

OVERALL.
this was my first sniper or my first airsoft gun overall and I am very impressed if your looking for a sniper thats very user friendly get this. expect jams when your first figuring it out and no need to buy a speed loader I would buy a better sling though. finally use silicone oil to lube the bolt up.

The bipod is a little loose for my taste
I ordered .30s for it and they didn't come with the gun even though I bought them at the same time

All in all its a great gun one major problem though is you are still reading this and have not bought it yet seriously its worth the money!!!

The design is very beautiful.
Out of the box, this had some very good performance.
The scope that comes with the package is fairly accurate, but the bipod is a bit wobbly but it just looks cool to have it on there. lol
The bolt might be a bit hard for some young people but you get a really good fps out of it so that makes up for it.
Never jammed once. The hop-up is a bit sensitive tho.
Took this to Hollywood Sports and had tons of fun out-ranging all the AEGs. Seriously, this thing can shoot really far.
I use .30g bbs and they work fine.
It is kinda loud for a sniper.
Overall, 10/10.

"Hey guys this will be my first review so let's see how it goes well first off the price for this gun it is a very good price and affordable to most people the build quality is pretty good everything that should be metal is and everything that dosent nesisary need to be isnt when I first picked up the box I was surprised by the weight it had to it (given mostly by metal in the stock) after some breef assembly it was together and had a nice feel to it I would definitely recommend this gun for starters or someone who wants to try to get into the role of the sniper I have had no internal mods to it all I did was add a new sling and a 4x 32 scope and it works great all in all good build

For more experienced players}
If you are a player who is looking to get an out of the box powerhouse for cheep I would not advise this gun there are other models that will get your job done and if u do decide to pick this piece up I advise new spring/spring guide, new hop up and, new inner barrel. Try a silver back hti for something unique that dose the job

I suggest using .28 gram or .30 gram BB`s for this gun
.20`s are too light and .32`s are too heavy

I purchased this gun from Evike.com a few days ago. After sighting in the scope I found it to be EXTREMELY ACCURATE. The scope package is a GREAT DEAL. A few pointers I would give to anyone who is thinking about buying or has bought this gun is:
A) DO NOT USE THE BBS INCLUDED IN THE BOX. (Buy your own bbs)
B) DO NOT USE THE SLING INCLUDED IN THE BOX. (Mine broke in 1 day)
C) USE .25, .30, OR .40 BBS IN THIS GUN. (.30s seem to work the best in it)
D) THIS GUN DOES SHOOT 465 FPS, SO IT IS ILLEGAL FOR USE IN AN INDOOR ARENA.
E) I HAVE FOUND ITS RANGE TO BE UP TO ABOUT 250 YARDS.
F) AT CLOSE RANGE THIS WILL DRAW BLOOD.
G) THE MAG IS A LITTLE HARD TO PUT IN, AND THE BOLT IS A LITTLE HARD TO PULL BACK. ( I PROMISE THAT YOU WILL NOT NOTICE THE BOLT PULL OR THE MAGAZINE AFTER ABOUT A WEEK.)
H) IT IS SUPER, SUPER, SUPER, SUPER, SUPER RELIABLE!
I) I PROMISE THAT YOU WILL LOVE THIS GUN JUST AS MUCH AS ME!

-it does have some weight to it (could go both way i guess)

-cheap if your buying it stock

CON'S
-fps out of the box is low than it calmed, but that's normal (I got a Tuning Kit and it went back up A LOT)
-it does have some weight to it (again it depends how you look at it. I personally like it)

OTHER
-only one rail

"i didnt buy this rifle here but this gun is absolutely fantastic. ive had it for a good year and a half to 2 years and its accurate(with the right bbs) durable and has the ability to be upgraded. the only con i have is very minor and thats if you dont lube the bolt cylinder, it will get really stiff and hard to pull back. that is the only back sass this gun has given me. other than that, its great:)
