Adjustable windage and elevation Front and rear swivel sling points The Steyr AUG is traditionally cited as the first commercially produced bullpup style battle rifles opening the floodgates to a whole family of firearms. Conceived in the early years of the Cold War the AUG was unlike anything else in use at the time. The AUG was constructed primarily of polymer and located the magazine, bolt and firing mechanisms behind the shooters hand. This configuration allowed the AUG to have a 20 inch barrel on a weapon platform that was only 30 inches in length, far shorter than most military battle rifles in use in the early 1960's/1970's. Atop the AUG was an carry handle with housed the integrated 1.5x telescopic scope and iron sights. Adopted initially by the Austrian army in 1978, use of the AUG spread to Austria's state police forces and then to law enforcement agencies and military groups around the world. While there are now a wide variety of AUGs on the market, tailor made to fit a wide variety of needs and situations, the original AUG design remains a iconic firearm representing the view of the feature as seen though the eyes of some of the most brilliant firearms engineers of their time.
GHK, one of the industry leaders in the development and production of gas blowback Airsoft rifles, has now added the lauded, iconic AUG rifle to their stable of extremely realistic high performance line-up. A detailed homage to the AUG A1, the GHK AUG features a body made from heavy duty polymer, very similar to the materials used in the production of the actual firearm. All the hallmarks of the traditional AUG design have been included. The integrated carry handle features a crystal clear 1.5x magnified optic, topped with a set of traditional open iron sights. The forward vertical grip folds up and out of the way when not in use and gives the rifle a snag-free and more streamlined design. The bolt and firing mechanism are all in their proper place, towards the rear of the rifle, behind the shooters hand, allowing for the use of a 20 inch barrel on what is otherwise a very compact system. Fire controls utilize the same two stage trigger seen on all real AUGs, a slight pull provides semi-automatic fire, while a full pull all the way to the rear fires the rifle in full-auto. No detail has been overlooked by GHK and the performance matches the detailed external features.

" To whom it may concern,
I wish to resend by bad review of a couple of days ago.
I freaked out when I should have contacted the tech department first.
The issue seems to be resolved for now.
We will see.
Thank You,
Keith
" This is an amazing product.
I've owned a number of gbb rifles and pistols and this one is my favorite. The exterior build quality is flawless; very sturdy, the finish is excellent and there is a lot of attention to detail as long as you aren't a stickler about the whole A2 vs A1 mixup. The magazines are of excellent quality and so far work flawlessly with only a reasonable cooldown like you might expect.
The stock optic is surprisingly easy to zero, comfortable, and 1.5x magnification feels perfect.
I put the A3 Rail kit on it and use it as a DMR, the range is excellent. Max range estimated with Google maps is about 300 feet, effective range around 200 with 0.25g bbs with the stock barrel but I'll probably go to something heavier and install a tightbore (to save on putting as many rounds down range). Chronoed on a cold morning at 360-380 fps w/0.25g
" First, I wanna say that this gun is very decent for GBB, the performance is just awesome, the scope is around 2*, the gun also good-looking.
Pros
-Good-looking
-Accurate
-scope
-around 35 rounds mag
-not too heavy (most of the weight is at the back)
Cons
-Loading the mag (This is one of the shittest thing about this gun, every time I have to load it with hand slowly)
-The scope is fixed
-mags are expensive
This is really a good GBB, but there are just some things that drive me crazy. The performance on the field is just wonderful, but loading process just make me impatient.
